Me and my girlfriend made a mistake by going there for lunch because we were hungry and it was the first place on our way. For the quality of the food the prices are just INSANE. Normally, 14 euros for a dish including duck breast, especially in Banská Štiavnica wouldn't be too high, but that was the worst duck meat I ever had, actually if I didn't know what it was I would say it was chicken livers. My veal was totally cooked through, so that was a waste of meat and could have been just pork. Also 14 euros. Overall the quality of birth dishes were very sub par. A 1st year culinary student would do a much better job. I'm not going to go into how sticky the table was and to top it all off, they charged 4,50 for one side of grilled vegetables which consisted of an oily slices of grilled eggplant, one whole grilled tomato and a freaking white pepper grilled whole with the seeds and everything. Oh and the atrocious music from public radio or whatever was just a final cherry on top. I wish I read the reviews before deciding...

With our friends we dined in this restaurant. Our experience was unfortunately very disappointing. They served spoiled beer - after warning the staff we just received a smile from the waitress noting that “there should be no problem with the beer”. I personally ordered sheep cheese dumplings with fresh chili peppers. They served basic dumpling without any chili - after complaining they gave me some ground chili spice with the advise that I should spice my food.🙂 The portions were too small compared to the price they asked. The worst restaurant you can find in Banska Stiavnica. Their tartar steak was probably the most disgusting thing I have ever seen putted on a plate. So spicy u can't even taste the meat in it (if there was any) and it was grinded to a brownish mash, it had practically nothing to do with an actual tartar.
