Hello, very bad service, quality of service worst lowcost, I had to find my reserved table. Server had no knowledge of menu, discussing variations was not possible. other drinks server brought drinks with finger in drinks, he is also a bartender. Sorry to say, this restaurant does not deserve to be listed as top restaurants of slovakia, this certificate does not even close represent reality. But this is not representation of staff, they tried their best, but were understaffed and fully untrained by senior staff, but very poor management skills, strongly below avarage hirring and organisational skills on management site, specially on high demand sunday lunch time. Sadly another example of tourist trap. Food was good, main course to premium standards. Overall above avarage food does not compensate overall...

I used to visit this restaurant regularly, but my last visit yesterday was a total disappointment. Prices have gone up, while the quality of the food has dropped significantly compared to three years ago.

Even the friendly waiter couldn’t make up for the poor quality of what’s being served at such a high price. My son even said his school canteen is better... and, I had to agree. The baked chicken with potato purée was something I could easily make better at home, and certainly not for €25.50 per person.

The chicken soup at €5.70 was no exception. Honestly, most people could cook a better one themselves.

Final verdict: If you don’t want to throw money out the window for food you could get in your company canteen for €6, skip the meals here. Just have a beer...

Had a group dinner here on our last night in Banska Stiavnica and enjoyed it immensely, especially the goulash. The beers were great as well - the ERB Dark Special unfiltered beer being the favorite. The beautifully restored complex of several buildings is stunning and is a real showpiece of the town. Very cozy dining room with wood panels and copper brewing kettles exuded warmth. Interestingly, a former Jewish synagogue now serves as the primary brewing center, with lines running underground to the rest of the complex.
