We booked this accomodation as something cheaper for an Easter weekend in Banska Stiavnica. I guess when it comes to places like this, you get what you pay for, except for that we didn't get what we paid for. Once we put our 2 year old to bed, the baby monitor showed 12 degrees celcius. No joke. Turned on the radiators to max, but that didn't really help. We got a few beers and Becherovky from a next door student bar and went up to the kitchen to freeze our backsides off. Penzión Tomino a jeho pani majiteľka ponúka výbornú voľbu na prežitie krásnych dní v rušnejšom starom meste a pritom v kľude. V historickom dome sú útulné izby zariadené s citom a vybavené všetkým, čo treba. Počas horúcich dní sú izby vďaka hrubým stenám prijemné. Priestranná spoločná kuchyňa umožňuje pripraviť si akékoľvek nápoje aj uvariť jedlo. Z chodby po pár schodoch sa ocitnete v krásnej záhrade, kde sú lehátka, pod slnečníkom stôl s lavicami a v hornej časti záhrady je aj miesto na grilovanie a posedenie. Z penziónu je možné prejsť sa starým mestom pešo za pamiatkami, kultúrou, na výstavy, okúpať sa na blízke tajchy Klinger a Veľká Vodárenská ako aj nakúpiť si v potravinách. Pred penziónom je pre klientov vyhradené parkovanie. Bezplatná Wifi je samozrejmosťou. Milá a ústretová pani majiteľka splní každé Vaše prianie s úsmevom. Vrele odporúčam.

Pension Tomino and its owner offer an excellent choice for spending beautiful days in the busy old town and at the same time in peace. In the historic house, the cozy rooms are furnished with sensitivity and equipped with everything you need. During hot days, the rooms are cozy thanks to the thick walls. A spacious shared kitchen allows you to prepare any drinks and cook food. From the corridor, after a few steps, you will find yourself in a beautiful garden, where there are sunbeds, a table with benches under the umbrella, and in the upper part of the garden there is also a place for grilling and sitting. From the guesthouse, it is possible to walk through the old town to see monuments, culture, exhibitions, take a bath in the nearby Klinger and Veľká Vodárenská lakes, as well as shop for groceries.
