Don't go there if you're looking for a nice terrace outside. You even can't hear yourself speak with all the street noise. Also, they have four different prices for different volumes of beer but when you ask for a pint, they only serve you 40 cl and make you pay 50 cl. For the wine, the same. Don't ask for a glass of wine because they will serve you two volumes (20 cl) and you'll actually pay for two glasses.
Dear Damian, thank you for your reaction to my evaluation. Concerning the noise, yes, it's a pub in town but especially a pub next to one of the busiest roads in Bratislava. So, when you're looking for a nice and quiet beer 'garden', you won't find it there. While we were speaking, we frequently had to repeat what we said or stop in the middle of our sentence to let a truck pass by first. Concerning the beer, which I liked by the way, I know how beer is served and I like a nice frothy collar on top of my beer. So, when the first beer came with a level right in the middle between the 40 and 50 cl mark, this wasn't a problem for me. However, when the second beer came with a level just below the 40 cl mark, I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be charged for a full pint though. If you propose four different prices and volumes to your clients (20, 30, 40 and 50 cl), the personnel should be attentive to respect these volumes. However, I'm sure that it wasn't done intentionnel. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. Concerning the wine, a glass of wine is standard 12,5 cl. So, being charged two glasses of wine of 10 cl when you order just one glass of wine doesn't seem right to me. Anyway, we weren't aware of the wine serving habits in Slowakia and that's entirely our fault. In order to show you my good faith, I'll change my evaluation from...
Read moreWhat a wonderful Craft Beer Place! Perfectly located near the city centre and at the bank of the River Danube in an old authentic building from the past. The service was great when I visited the place for the first time. The waitress was very well informed about craft beer! The range of beers is more than ok, but the kind of beers they offer is even much better! The background music is surprisingly and normally the most underrated category of a pub or bar. Let me tell you, here it's perfect if you like alternative rock music, which perfectly matches the alternative...
Read moreAlongside the river just past the Most SNP bridge, with a new tramstop being build pretty much outside. It's a rather nice bar with various rooms (I imagine outside areas too in summer!) with a load of craft beers on tap available in a range of glass sizes (bigger ones are better value as is usual here). Another good addition to Bratislava's excellent...
