Mandľa — Restaurant in Bratislava

We ordered matcha and lungo, paid 5,5euro. Coffee had a very nice taste and very good quality. Matcha was excellent. Barista was very nice, and polite. We ordered lungo (which is basically a long espresso meaning you pull it out from machine bit later compared to normal espresso) and received americano (esspresso with added hot water). When i asked why is my coffee so watery lady barista said that this is lungo. I said it looks like americano, she said that yes its an espresso with water. Thats how they do it. Americano and lungo is the same. So long story short - a coffee house, with rather high price of coffee should know the difference between these 2...

After recent visit I update my review - I really enjoyed the coffe here.

The location is good, away from the busy city center and crowds of people.

Interior is nice with space for some work as well, if you’re looking for working somewhere quiet with good coffee, I recommend it 100 %.

The only negative thing was the choice of a cup for batch brew - it was impossible to hold it even after 15-20 minutes, because it was so hot and without any handle. I recommend using thicker kind of a cup for this. It looked cool, but totally unusable for batch (better for flat white).

Otherwise no complaints, recommend :)

We came at 15:00 and received 4 takeaway coffees at 15:27, and it was 4 cappuccino, 2 with normal milk and 2 with oat milk, but barista made 4 with normal milk, barista asked if it’s ok, and she can make 2 how it suppose to be with oat milk, but we couldn’t wait other 27 minutes for 2 coffee. Coffee was good but 27 minutes for 4 cappuccino it’s too much. Our last time...
