ENJOY BISTRO — Restaurant in Bratislava

Today's visit to Enjoy Bistro was a total disaster and a peak of unprofessionalism. Although the breakfast and coffee were decent, the entire experience was ruined by the staff and management. ​When I was in a hurry to pay at 9:30 AM, the waitress made me wait because the card terminal was dead. After standing there for ten minutes, she told me it needed at least a 5% charge to even turn on. The manager then came over and bluntly told me I had to wait for it to get to 10%, which meant another ten minutes of waiting. ​In my haste, I offered to pay the €60 I had in cash instead of the full €64 bill, since they couldn't process a card payment. He refused and, instead of helping, told me he would call security if I didn't pay the full amount. He actually thought it was normal for a customer to wait for ages for a terminal to charge, which is completely outrageous. A place that opens at 8:30 AM should have everything ready to go. ​This behaviour is absolutely unacceptable. Instead of offering a solution, I was met with aggressive pressure and zero willingness to help. I'll never spend my time or money here again and would advise everyone...

I cannot say how much I love this location. I've passed by it many times, but necer went inside. It stayed stuck to my mind and since today I had some waiting time, decided to get myself a nice brrakfast. The atmosphete inside in warm and cozy, the decor is simple yet elegant and the lighting is a combination of natural light and warm electric light which makes it for welcoming. The Benedict Eggs with Salmon were a delight and the white latte is anything you can want from a coffee. The establishment got quite busy and soon there was little place to sit at the tables as people kept coming. Even so, the service was prompt and the girls were proactive, making sure no one was waiting for too long. On my way out, the window case caught my eyes with a few desserts and decided to take some to go. I got chocolate cake and carrot cake, both delicious, but I was amazed by the carrot cake which is my favorite. Best I ever had in all my trials to find the perfect carrot cake. The cafe was really beautiful but the waitress was quite rude and cold from the beginning, which ruined my experience. Despite the fact I was very polite and smiley towards her during the whole experience she didn't change at all. I ordered a lemon ginger tea (what I got was a green tea) and had the buckwheat noodles. Soup of the day was advertised outside and she told me "we don't have soup today" very blantly.

The prices were quite expensive for what they offer and compared to prices in bratislava. If they aim for tourists, which they are, judging from location and prices they have a lot of steps to go up if they are interested to be an exquisite cafe. People will keep reading the bad reviews and then they will avoid it. I am just guessing they are not really interested in providing an excellent service, cause they will never see the customer again, hence their service is horrible (which is included in the price too, surprisingly) but that's not how it goes.
