I live in Vienna and I love burgers, going back to my home country recently a good friend took me to this place saying lets go for a good burger. The menu has enough variety, also ribs which I am gonna order next time, but of course i took a daily special offered by serving lady, who was excatly how it should be, kind and informative, not pushing for certain seletions. So the moment of truth came, nice presentation, fries on the side and home made bun. A lot of veggies, killer sauce, onions sweet to perfection, bacon not overdone and then the highlight of the burger was the meat. Nice medium rare like ordered, thick and juicy mmmmmmmm. There is no bed activity which would beat the first bite of that burger. My drink was tap Maribor beer, nice local brew, i recommend. The couple running this place is really behind it with heart and soul and their food is also great value for money, because you eat high end street food for an average price. The location is perfect for a hungry urban traveller or local hangers. Nested in the city centre, close to the river, which is lovely bustlin area, esp in the summer. And like a neon writing on their wall which i spotted while going for a pee ( i prefer to seat outside ) is saying : This is a bad place for a diet. True, ignore the diet and eat here, not just once. The best place we found while staying in Maribor! The burgers were sooo good, we went back a second time :) But it's not just the burgers, everything else was amazing too (fries, coffee, drinks), and the staff are super friendly and helpful as well! The menu is only available in Slovenian, but it can be easily translated with GoogleLens, and the staff also speaks English very well, so they can help you out too. :) Bathrooms were clean and well-equipped, in the ladies' room they provided some "emergency" items as well (sunscreen, bug repellent, dry shampoo, tampons etc.), which is a really sweet gesture.
