Papagayo Cocktail Bar & C H O C O — Restaurant in Maribor

The experience of visiting that restaurant left me with very ambiguous feeling. On one side it have very impressive list of desserts (we came there only for desserts and drinks, so can't say anything about other food type), everything what we ordered was very tasty and looks awesome. Also there is a child corner with a lot of toys where you can left your child and he/she will keep busy while you enjoy your meal and chat with your friends. On other side that place is probably have the worst service I ever experienced in Slovenia. Waiters are super slooooow! When we came there were only few tables occupied, but anything we asked from waiter took enormous amount of time. Even when we asked for the bill, we waited about 20 minutes and after we remind about that it took another 10-15 minutes to bring it.

The food and drinks are OK (for Maribor, where most food is terrible), but the waitresses who usually work here are trash.

They'll try to shame you for not knowing about the alcoholic drinks they have, and their mood depends on how their day went. Did their boyfriends treat them right? Then you'll get acceptable service. Did their boyfriends yell at them? You'll know about it (and pay for it!) for sure with their terrible attitude.

I prefer not to go to a place where the quality of the service depends on how the waitresses feel. Fail.

The desserts are very good and reasonably priced. You just never know where you'll get 'tude when going there.

The food was ok but the problem was it was bland and had no taste I had to dunk my food in the ketchup to give it some flavour. They kept rushing us to get our order in even though we told her to wait and come back after, the waiters where rude and they couldn’t stop rushing us plus they were ignoring us and there wasn’t a lot of people there . I tired to order something else but the lady made me wait later cuz she didn’t want to bring me more than one plate of food at a time. And the tables were messy...
