I do not recommend, avoid this place! Very nice location, we went on a Saturday at 11 AM for a coffee but didn't manage to get anything because it was closed and the people working there were rude. On google maps the working hours are from 10 AM to 6 PM. On the entrance door it said it should be open but the door was closed. We went outside, there were 2 people with coffees sitting at a table, we asked them were did they get the coffee and they said they will open the place in about half and hour and we need to wait... and then continued to smoke their cigarettes and drink their coffee. Another two people came for coffee and they were told the same thing. This is especially rude since there are no cafes or places around and it takes a 10 mins walk through the park to get there. An absolute disgrace! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. They stole 15,50 euros from us by adding items to the bill that we never ordered. From the beginning, their intentions were shady: we asked to split the bill between several people and the waiter rudely refused, clearly trying to make it harder to catch the scam.

To make matters worse, we saw the waitress drinking champagne secretly behind the bar, which makes you wonder if she was padding the bills to cover her own consumption. After we left and reviewed the charges separately, we realized they had added fake items we never received.

The beautiful location, Tivolski grad (Tivoli Castle), overlooking Tivoli Park, is a scenic place to visit. Just don't go and get a coffee or anything else at Caffe Bienale—the waiting time for any order is so awful that you could almost grow a beard, even though there were three people working. One was doing her best to accommodate the guests, but it still wasn't enough. We took the time to observe a bit: guests came, sat down, waited for quite some time, and left.
