I had no idea I could ever have such strong feelings about a restaurant, but here we are. I first came here on a friend's recommendation. The owners are the kindest couple ever, and they were just the sweetest. So, the friend and I came back again, and again. One day I came to the restaurant alone. When the couple saw that I was alone, the lady came up to me and asked if I was okay because my friend was gone. It was just the kindest gesture. Their kindness only continued. Once, a sudden rain storm hit, and, as it was completely unexpected, I wasn't dressed suitably to go home in the rain. The sweet lady told me to use her umbrella, and bring it back when the weather got better. When I brought it back, she sat me down and gave me a free meal. Just the most lovely people ever. The couple even gave me a keychain that I've taken with me everywhere ever since. They also gave my friend a bag of rice cakes to make her own tteokbokki at home. The food they make is fantastic, and they're willing to adjust the spice levels of some of their spicer foods, like the tteokbokki. The atmosphere is just so warm and friendly. when the owners receive fanart, they will put it on the walls, so you can see how much the couple is appreciated by their customers! I'm currently studying abroad, and the thing I miss most about my home country is being able to go to this lovely cafe every...
Read moreThis is a little gem of a restaurant run by a nice couple. Although the menu is limited, everything we ordered was delicious. We started off with an order of tteok-bokki and one order of pork and kimchi dumplings. The tteok-bokki was nicely prepared. The rice cakes were nice and chewy and the sauce had a little bit of spice and was not too sweet like some other restaurants. The pork and kimchi dumplings were nice and juicy. The dumpling skin was thin and delicate. We ended up ordering some more dumplings, but this time got the chicken. The chicken dumplings were a bit smaller but just as delicious. The pork and kimchi dumplings come in an order of five pieces and the chicken dumplings come in an order of eight pieces due to their smaller size. Afterwards we each ordered a small bingsu for dessert. BTW - best bingsu we've ever had! The ice is made from milk without water added like some other places so it's creamier. I highly...
Read moreI’ve come here for lunch after school many times now and it just never disappoints. The ramen is probably one of the tastiest meals I’ve ever had in my life, it even looks amazing! The sides are so cute and add a nice touch. I also tried the bingsu and I must say I’m very impressed. Their tteokbokki is also a 10/10. I’m pretty sure everything here is homemade, thus very authentic and of high quality. The owners are the nicest people in customer service i’ve ever met, they refill your water constantly, and check on you if everything is alright too. The place is full of cozy decor, and you can chill to some K-pop in the background if you’re into that aswell!! I would give this café 10 stars if it was possible! I’ll be coming back without a doubt!! Really...
