Awful experience., poorly educated staff. Once I found human hair in a cake and as I called their waiter to tell him about it, he just looked at it and didn’t even APOLOGISE but only brought new piece of cake. I was amused by his nonchalant attitude. The other time we went there with my kids and they have this stupid tables with holes by sides, so if you are not careful enough, anything can fall on floor. Of course that has happened to my 6 years old daughter. And as I have explained it to their waitress and kindly asked her to bring new cake ( because more than a half was dropped on the floor) she of course charged me double. Bumped into this coffee house by accident and it looked very appealing so we decided to have some coffee. Good choice! Location is close to a center, in the lobby of a known hotel 'Slon'. Interior is spacious, designed in retro 70', kinda luxury feel, but warm and comfortable. Place was crowded so we had to wait to order and later to pay, but staff was kind. They serve a range of coffees, good quality teas, and have excellent homemade cakes. Prices are higher than usual, but regarding the hotel not unexpected. They serve the order nicely on a tray with biscuit and with nice drawing on coffee. Coffee tasted very good- Illy coffee. Cake was delicious and fresh. Next time in Ljubljana will definitely...

I used to be a loyal customer at Zvezda, but after my last visit, never again. We waited endlessly while two waiters stood at the bar doing absolutely nothing. We waved several times — they saw us and ignored us. Then a waitress looked straight at us and still didn’t bother to come over. Moments later, a group of guys arrived and were served immediately, while we were completely disregarded. The level of arrogance and disrespect was unbelievable.
