This week my husband and I went for supper at Col'cacchio Willowbridge (our usual spot) and as vegetarians we were very excited about all the new options they had on the menu. Our waitress Magreth was attentive, friendly and honest (a rare find in the restaurant industry). We can truly say all we needed to do is ask and she made it happen (again commonly not always the case). I dedided to be adventurous and try something new on the menu and to my disappointment the veg balls in my vegan spaghetti and vegballs was dry, powdery and rock hard. I initially decided to bear with it, willing to write it off as a bad choice but when the generous amount of vegballs became a chewing nightmare I decided to call Magreth. When I explained my experience I asked that she called her manager. The manager on duty, Yanga came in and immediately noticed that the vegballs looked out of sorts and apologized advising he would make me a brand new plate. When I advised Yanga that the experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and that I preferred taking a different pasta dish he without hesitation agreed to my request. My husband and i made it known to both Yanga and Magreth that we are not only greatly pleased but that their handling of the situation is why we have been happy customers of Col'cacchio and will continue to be. Great food, great people, great experiences. Thank you...

Aesthetically wise, the layout of the restaurant is very modern and gorgeous looking, however my major problem is the bathroom area is that its unisex -not a problem - but the condition of it is not pleasing and hygienic. Some men really have bad toilet skills as in leaving the toilet seat down and a mess or just splattering everywhere. This is not the establishments fault but it does still come down to bad designing of a unisex toilet, that is not often checked and cleaned regularly... I had to clean up "wetness" on the floor before stepping in...
Lastly, food wise, was okay. Food was very plain and basic however lacking in umami flavour or just a "wow" factor. Most ingredients were not seasoned enough resulting me to use more salt and pepper but it was the base that actually lost its soulful notes leaving the momentum of eating pizza feeling a bit "bleh".
Lastly, I have to end off with a good note at least, all the staff including management were superstars. The way you are being treated feels very welcoming and at home, they are very attentive to your needs especially when you are peeking your head up looking around like a bird!
Will give a second chance visit hopefully with...
Read moreI did a walk-in take away as the phone is out of order. The cue was extremely long as many other clients did walk-in orders and the restaurant clearly decided that under level 4 take away conditions they will cut their staff complement to 1 front of house + 1 pizza maker + maybe 2 or 3 kitchen ladies. Many clients commented on the slow service and I was advised my order will take about 35 mins which is fair. After 40 mins I started to notice that the other walk-in orders after mine were being issued. It was quite obvious that a mistake was made and my order was never placed. When I approached the manager (Toni) she outright lied to me that the other walk-in clients which i personally overheard order and pay after me ordered via other means and that my pizzas were almost done. I can handle an honest mistake under the visibly short staffed conditions and irritated clientele but an outright lie with a terrible attitude by Toni spoilt my appetite for Colcacchios. After an hour I was still waiting on my pizzas. Rather avoid Colcacchios Willowbridge during the level 4 take away only restrictions as they will most likely spoil your evenibg like they did to many of us loyal Colcacchio...
