Hungry Lion Adderley Street — Restaurant in Foreshore

The hot wings were good. Not as great as the advertising made it to be, but good. The shop did not have enough wings to fill the 20-wing bucket when I ordered and for me to receive the 20-wing bucket I would have had to wait longer than the normal time. Next time they should have a "just in case" frozen stock in the freezer in the instances they may run short on an order.

The lady at the counter was friendly and accommodating. I was happy with her service.

Please be strict with the clients that do not clean up after themselves. They make it difficult for the Hungry Lion employees that clean the seating areas. Everyone must clear their table once they are done with their meals. It is not Hungry Lion staff's responsibility to clear patrons' bones and serviettes away.

I enjoyed my meal and the service. Thank you, Hungry Lion...

Spice chicken were much better than their other branches in less affluent areas. There was no salt or spice for the chips, which tasted very bland due to this. Tables was covered with red boxes, a box in the aisle, dirt bins blocking the walkway,. This while the venue was busy and clients was looking for space to sit. This is just poor management for a venue based in the CBD. Quality service should never take a backseat over sales.

12 May 2024 Update: a vagrant was allowed, into the eating area, who begged for money. Shortly after that another hawker entered trying to sell his wares. Four (4) tables were dirty. When a cleaner finally arrived, she only cleaned one table. When I asked for a reprint of my receipt, the manager was called to do this. She did not acknowledge me, nor greet me, and looked like she just woke up...

It was my first time eating at hungry lion and today felt like that day to try them out ..

First of all the driver was a whole 25 mins late .. Food looked like it was just thrown together as if they are forced to make this food , payed for a full meal but never got my chips ..... First of all I dont always get takeout but when I do I would like to pay for the quality of food I'm getting , and what myself and my colleague got looked like I went to the zoo and got food ... highly dissatisfied with the service and quality of food .. will never buy fron hungry lion in Adderly street again

Hope this problem will be solved or staff will be aware of...
