Good Morning

Has i was passing the food area i decided to stop and see the menu at Cappuccinos and decided to walk in before getting in 2 friendly staff members was standing at the entrance welcoming my family and i .So we got in the waiter was Neo who assisted us . We looked at the menu again then decided to order . We waited for a while before the food arrived . And then this friendly guy came up to us and was checking if we ok not knowing he was the manager . So he chatted a bit by the time the food arrived and he then left . So we started our dinner which wss so devine and the service we got was the best . I will rate this gentllemen 10/10 whilist having dinner my eye caught on the serving dish that they used so i decided to finish up my dinner and go back up to the manager and ask him if i could purchase at least 2 of the serving dishes beleave me he wss so friendly and never refused all he said was let me go ask my leader . When he got back to me he came all smiling and said yes maam you can have 2 serving dishes at a certain cost and he promised to call me back and advise me if i can purchase more so i gave him.my contact details before leaving the store . We went here for lunch earlier and the experience wasn't enjoyable for us. It appears that the chef doesn't like seasoning the food and we didn't enjoy the food experience.

The waiter was friendly, presented us with the manu and was kind to share the days special.

Our wait for the drinks appeared to be longer, considering we ordered coffee, kids juices and passion fruit with tonic.

The waiter suggested a combo meal for the boys, so we took the chicken strips with chips and margherita pizza. The combo included Juice and Ice cream for dessert(which we didn't get). The kids food was quick; the strips were fluffy and crispy except they didn't have seasoning๐Ÿ™. The pizza had lots of tomato base and the cheese didn't taste like it was baked โ˜น๏ธ.

Oxtail served with Mash and cream spinash, was the day special. Haai, the oxtail was tough. The oxtail sauce was great, the mash had lumps, the blend cream spanish didn't belong, not flavor. The sweet chilli chicken tramazzini with chips was a disaster ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ. The tramazzini had no flavor, not sure what sweet chillie source was used. I thought maybe the coffee changed my taste buds, after a glass of water, still. The tramazzini wasn't a tramazzini, was supposed to be soft, cheesy and ozzing flavors ... that one๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜. I left it.

I am not sure we will be returning for a meal...

Our first visit to Cappuccino's was last year August. We had the Italian chicken and mushroom pizza. I honestly did not enjoy that. The rosemary was extremely overpowering.

Today was our second visit. Hubby had the South African breakfast priced at R119. I do not think that breakfast was worth it at all compared to other restaurants - value for money. This breakfast has 1 slice of bread. We substituted the beef boerewors for a pork cheese griller. The bacon portion looked rather sad, and so did the appearance of the plate for R119. I had ordered a tramezzini - sweet chilli chicken, mozzarella, and substituted the pineapple for mushroom for R129 if im not mistaken with a portion of chips. The chips were very oily, and some were crunchy. That was disappointing with both our meals.

The service was slow. Our food was sitting on the counter for a while before it was brought to us. Our food was brought to us by a different person.

I loved the ambiance and atmosphere.

For the price and quality of the meals, I don't think I would return in a hurry. We eat out and try new places in hopes of actually enjoying it, especially for the prices we pay.

They do have a Monday special - any classic pizza or any...

I went to Cappuccino with my friend last week and we were really happy chose it out of so many restaurants in Greenstone. They have a big menu and it wasn't easy to decide for me, but then I decided for the daily special which was Eisbein on Tuesday. The size was extraordinary big, we were so impressed. I really love that it was really crispy and savory on the outside while tender and juicy in the inside. I chose grilled veggies for the side and cider for the drink. My friend gas spinach and mango juice, which was wonderful as well. I'm not sure whether the serving time was too long because it simply was or was it because we were just hungry after half day at the hospital lol but the delicious Eisbein was really worth the wait. We had Death by Chocolate for dessert, it was very chocolatey but honestly nothing really special, it was just okay. Service was nice and friendly, maybe a bit unconventional but I prefer a warm and funny waiter than a cold and uninterested one ๐Ÿ˜ I am looking forward to go back to Cappuccino to try their other meals, honestly I want to try them all, they look so wonderful ๐Ÿ˜†

Just had breakfast there. Food was nice, above average, and value for money 7/10. Was a reasonable wait for food. Comfortable seating in booth and good atmosphere considering it's in a shopping centre. Unfortunately, the service is quite poor, even though staff are friendly. I noticed the tables around me had same issues with getting service 4/10. And when I looked around, more than a few waiters were hanging in the back instead of on the floor. Manager needs to ensure waiters are on the floor and not doing menial tasks at the back when it's busy. I'm still trying to decide if I would go back for the food alone.
