Debonairs Pizza — Restaurant in Gauteng

29/05/2020 - I have ordered 2x on the triple pizzas from Debonairs Corlett Drive. However thinking that I work just across the road from the restaurant, it was convenient for me to order from them and besides I have only ordered from them...

Today I ordered pizzas and when I say I am disgusted with the appearance of the pizzas. They are so dry that you will need to take a sip of a drink after every bite. Cheese on the pizza should be melted on a pizza as far as I'm concerned... well cheese on my pizza is grated and visible. The pizza I ordered is terrible. Debonairs used to be a good pizza restaurant that when you ordered any pizza you would enjoy it. But this time around I dont think I'm gonna be a ordering from them ever again... and dont worry I'm just one customer, but word of mouth travels... sorry guys I'm disappointed and disgusted with the food... Went to get a pizza with a voucher as I always do and the assistant was so not helpful. I'm not sure if he doesn't know what he's doing or if he's just slow but I spent a solid 10 minutes waiting for the computer to "unfreeze" and he kept fiddling with the buttons of the keypad. When I asked where the other guy who normally assist was he laughed and said "what must I do" I had to suggest that he reboots the actual computer and he laughed like it was a funny suggestion . Then after an additional 10 minutes he called someome from steers to help. Idk what was happening but it was a disaster. Imagine having to wait a solid 30 minutes trying to order food and the staff doesn't know what to do? Mind you I've always bought using a voucher and the guy who I assume is a manager always knows what to do. But not this team and it's so infuriating. Mind you he's not even wearing a name tag so I can't...

I ordered a large BBQ chicken with additional pineapple topping. This is my 2nd time ordering the same. That pizza had so much of space to move around in that box it had me wondering immediately. It was lightweight. The base has gotten smaller and thinner. Definitely shrinking in size with an inflated price. Charged delivery for 1km. Chicken you could barely see or taste. I think it was ground chicken. My cat was disappointed as there was no chicken to pick off for her. The pineapple was a few pieces here and there. Usually a pizza slice would bend with the weight of the topping, not this one.You need to go back to the drawing board and check what your competitors are doing. The only reason I chose you over Pizza Hut was that they too were experiencing a power failure in the area.
