On 21/06 I walked into the gallery with my daughter for her birthday, trying to give us a new experience. I asked an Consultant for a little information, not being well versed in the Arts. Tryon (sp) is what any industry needs as a representative. Not only is he informative, he’s in-tuned with the audience, he spoke to me from the ground level up. He spoke to me about the arts trends, macroeconomic factors that influence the pricing and how that affects the African artist. In 7 mins, I had a bag of knowledge from him. I pass by this place 90% of the time and the art is always eye catching and thought provoking. 👌🏾 If you are a fan of sculptures, paintings, colour and art in general, pop into the Melrose Art Gallery and get blown away.

Always a peaceful and calm atmosphere, I almost never want to leave. Plus the managers are always accommodating to my barrage of questions which makes this a comfortable space to be in if you're intimidated by the thought of art...
