[Second experience] - A small nut milk smoothie is R85. At this price one would expect the smoothie to be made of lots of nuts, and nut milk. Thick and creamy...And I must say it normally is the case. Today, however it was like it contained majority ice. At the bottom of the cup was a few small ice blocks from the crushed ice. If I wanted a slush puppie I would go somewhere else. I want a tasty nut based smoothie.

I hope this is not management's way to save costs again. I've updated my review to 1 star until this is improved.

[First Experience] The kuaia nut milk smoothie tastes nice but... I buy this all the time at various kauais. This is the only shop that doesn't fill the cup. It's consistently less than full and noticeable. I was informed they do this based on instruction from management. Why?

Edit: After this complaint this particular aspect has improved. Before it was consistently less than full. And since the complaint I've never received one like that again. so I can only assume that management sorted this out. Im upping...

Guys this is bad , since you opened I have been consistently a regular and I have always complained about 2 things only , staff attitude towards customers and the smoothie , then i decided to stop buying because I was spending a lot of money, I mean I used to smoothie every morning after gym and I stay right next door by the capital , so now I decided to go again today after a while hoping I will get what I used to get when the shop was still new , fortunately the new staff is very friendly but the smoothie, what a waste of R 65 , it watery ( they use more ice than ingredients, so I ended up drinking ice because I replace food with smoothie after gym but this is really disappointing we spend a lot of money for this it feels like I am drinking ice cubes and a bit of milk and brown powder this does not taste like proper peanut butter . To be honest coffee shop by the container outside menlyn main tastes much better.

I've had bad experiences at this shop before but it's the closest to us so we return. However, tonight's food and experience was so poor that I have to leave a review and won't return. Ordered 2 burgers, 1 wrap, 1 salad, 1 drink The burgers were the worst by far. Patties are overcooked and rock hard. The kids couldn't eat it. It tasted terrible. Wrap was poor. Salad hardly had filling. I removed most of the leaves and was left with a handful fillings. I bought four meals but two were inedible. So we paid R550 to feed 2 people. At the shop, the staff are friendly but works unneat with uncleaned workstations and bowls standing around. Walking around with the food in hand. There were only 2 other people waiting with me and yet the order took 21 minutes. In our bag we had 10 serviettes and 8 pieces of takeaway cutlery which is just wasteful.
