Amazing Food, Horrific Service

I visited this specific branch for the first time and unfortunately, it will be my last. The food was genuinely amazing — which makes this review such a disappointment — but the service completely ruined the experience.

Our first waiter, It was like he had a part-time job… somewhere else. - he would disappear for well over 30 minutes where we would end up ordering drinks from random waiters and things took a sharp turn when it was time to pay. After I had already tipped him, he tried to add an extra R100 to the bill and claimed his Maths is bad. That alone left a bad taste.

My first guest left, I stayed on as I was expecting another friend, we got a second waiter, Ashley, and his service was nonexistent. At one point, my friend had to physically go find him, and he blatantly denied that we were his table. Moments later he returned, apologizing and saying he had simply forgotten us. A manager even took a drink order from us — which never arrived. An hour later when I followed up, she claimed she had given Ashley the said order. Then she asked if she should still bring it… I declined. Later, Ashley denied ever receiving a drinks order in the first place.

At that point, we decided to settle the bill and leave.

I truly wish the service matched the quality of the food. Sadly, until that changes, I won’t...

We arrived at Tigers Milk and landed in the hands of Emmanuel by the bar. The man was knowledgable and very helpful for us to navigate the Tigers Milk menu.. He patiently took us through the menu while we asked questions and picked through everything in comparison.

We ended up ordering the Tigers Milk Lager which he advised why it's the Tigers Milk best. We then debated of the wings but he assured us of the wings lol he literally bet his life. Well their the best indeed..

They fall of the bone and the taste was exceptional.

Wow what a great new venue in Waterfall park, Midrand. I just want to give a shout out to Thembinkosi and his team. You made us feel so welcomed and helped to seat us really quickly even though the place was super packed. The drinks and food arrived quickly and and the atmosphere was electric. This is the kind of service that will set the standard of excellence in Midrand.
