This is where Kauai as a franchise fails dismally. Inconsistent.
I ordered a large cappuccino, was handed my plastic number and took a seat at a table with my husband. The next thing I know a lady is next to me with a take away coffee ... Thinking they had brought it to the wrong table I said I had ordered a Large Cappuccino ... the lady at the counter shouts - Yes that is a large cappucinno š® ... but I didn't order a takeaway ... still thinking they had the wrong person ... Um No that was my coffee! Please may I have it in a cup as I am having it here. Not a word was spoken, she carried on serving customers and then when she was finished with them she went and made my cappuccino ... or emptied the takeaway cup into my cup? and I was eventually presented with a Cappuccino that was so hot it was undrinkable for 10 minutes ... grrr.
For this reason Seattle will always be my first choice of franchise outlets - it doesn't matter which store you go to you are guaranteed a fantastic cappucinno. Unfortunately for Umhlanga the Seattle outlet closes at 2 on a Saturday.

We ordered a tropical CBD (which doesn't have pineapple or kiwi - which are the only things my fiancƩ is allergic to) and my fiancƩ had a really bad allergic reaction. I called the manager to rectify this issue and they provided no help and spoke over me while I was explaining. Obviously this can be quite a big issue and they're just defending their store and their staff and won't admit anything further.
On several other separate occasions, drinks have been diluted or short portioned with certain ingredients and many times have seen them use other ingredients that are cheaper to replace more expensive ingredients.
There are plenty of other better places to go, rather...
