Ignore the below good review.
The service, food and staff have slumped into a oblivion that will take ages to repair.
1 till in service. Long line that's escape the restaurant. The restaurant is absolutely filty from the door right into the bathrooms. No toilet paper or paper at the sink. The trash is falling out the bins. Tablets are dirty and the previous patrons food are still on the tables. I got the last toilet paper from the ladies bathroom, used the toilet foam on a toilet paper to wipe the table, sauce bottles (that was from who knows how many ppl before us still on the table) and condiments.
How do we share a full chicken, 2 sides from a paper bag.
The lady handing us the order has no customer service. She laughed in my face when I asked for plates, cutlery and glasses. She informed me that the sit down area is closed and they not giving any kitchen ware because they don't have staff.
I asked for the manager and the lady, laughed at me again and screamed to the guy at the grill to call the manager. The manager Niena came after I continuesly asked for a manager. Here again, no customer service and lack of taking control of the staff or management of the store. She did not want to listen to my complaints and rather said that the store does not have glasses, plates or cutlery to give. I asked for my money back and said I'll rather give it to another restaurant that wants it. We took our money and left.
The manager should of deflated the situation and listened to us. I would of never wrote this complaint (Edith my previous good rating to junk status) or call out the manager and staff member.
Your store is terribly dirty. The tables aren't being cleared. The bins are running over with trash. The bathrooms are dirty. No toilet paper and hand paper towels. Not giving the proper eating equipment to enjoy the meal I'm suppose to. Lacking client service. Poor service all around. The WiFi was the only service that was properly supplied. The manage is rude.
We actually loved this Nando's store but we will definitely not return. We drove to Long street. Just seeing the Nando's put me off. So I walked apposite to the red and yellow place and gave then my money that Nando's obviously didn't want...
Again how do I eat a family meal from your paper bag.
Worst service and such a spoiler to our holiday.

This added insult to injury and demonstrated a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
The behavior of the staff was also disappointing. Not only were they rude and unapologetic about the situation, but they seemed disinterested in providing any assistance or finding a solution to the problem. It is disheartening to encounter such poor customer service in a restaurant that prides itself on its reputation.
To address this issue, I contacted Nando's help line for assistance, only to be met with equal levels of incompetence. Despite my efforts, it has been three weeks since the incident, and I have not received a single response or any attempt to rectify the situation. This lack of communication and support is unacceptable, leaving me feeling ignored and disrespected as a customer.
I understand that mistakes can happen, and even the best restaurants can have occasional slip-ups. However, it is the response to these mistakes that truly matters, and in the case of Nando's Seapoint, they have failed to take responsibility or show any concern for their customers' satisfaction.
In conclusion, my experience at Nando's Seapoint was marked by an excessively long wait time, canceled order without notification (despite being paid for), rude staff, and an unhelpful customer service department. I am extremely disappointed in the overall service I received, and I would strongly advise against dining at this particular Nando's location. ย ย ย Read more28 April 2025 I really give up on this branch right now! Today was really the last straw. I doubt there's a manager because I asked if one was on site but didn't see him/her. My critique on the food is last on my list of no no absolutely NO! Parking is horrific because all the delivery scooters have taken over the parking out front. Top it off with the stench of urine around the building if you park in the side road!!
Toilets have a code for patrons to use, but the efficiency thereof is lacking as it has a paper displayed with the code stuck on the door, which defeats the purpose of a lock!
The tables on the side, in the nook with couches against the wall, were all occupied by a large family. 6 adults and approx 6 or so kids. No problem with that. The issue I saw was that they were having an entire meal from PnP. From a grilled chic n chips in the bag with a loaf of bread , 2L drinks, and plastic picnic cups to match. I don't deny they might have bought a meal from Nando's to enjoy as well, but it was shockingly hilarious the food that kept on coming out of the pnp bags. I could only deduce that it might be a regular occurrence at this Nando's. I did not take pics of the scene because the kids were in view, and that would just be wrong. Getting back to my food. Sigh!
