Vovo Telo Bakery & Café — Restaurant in Windermere

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Vovo Telo on Florida Road in Durban, and it was an absolute delight! The breakfast offering, priced at only R55.00, was exceptional.

The plate consisted of perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, delicious homemade sourdough toast, flavorful chips, and tasty baked beans. Every element was prepared with care and attention to detail, resulting in a truly satisfying meal.

To accompany my breakfast, I ordered a cappuccino, and it was simply fantastic. The rich and creamy texture paired perfectly with the flavors of the breakfast, adding an extra touch of indulgence to the experience.

The outdoor setting of Vovo Telo is brilliant, with tables right on the road. It provided a vibrant atmosphere and allowed me to enjoy my meal while observing the lively surroundings of Florida Road.

The service was prompt and friendly, and the staff members were attentive throughout my visit. It's evident that they take pride in providing a pleasant dining experience.

Very disappointed in what could be a beautiful place establishment. Food was not close to Vovo Telo standard, my sons food arrived last which is a big problem for a parent with a hungry child. He is the only one that finished his food. Don't order a sandwich, dry and tasteless. The honey mustards chicken. Sandwich looked awful. We left and I didn't even eat. I firstly got given the wrong order, then given what I ordered in a takeaway box - Stale bread, barely edible. It was just taken away after I complained. Both our coffees were bland and took ages. Table that was seated 15 minutes after we got there, got attended to straight away before we were even asked for drinks. Cramped inside seating makes for waiters bumping into your chair constantly making the whole experience a lot worse.

Cannot say we were pleased with the service at all. Was slow and the waiter Benson even apologized for delay in the food coming out as he said he was busy. Cuppaccino was lukewarm. We ordered a sandwich, bread (not all available) and cakes to take home. We paid and waited for our goods. We sat and waited for Benson to pack them for us and to give to us. Got home the cakes we not in the packet. Called manager at 1.30 on duty and he apologized and said he would send via uber. Asked Benson why he did not pack and he said WE left behind?????? Called manager again as 2.30 cakes as I still had not received it. It eventually arrived at 3 and pastels de nata were raw/runny from the heat of car as the driver had obviously been driving around with them.
