Visited: Oct. 2022 Ordering was simple but just let one of the staff know when you are ready. Most of the staff knows little to no english. There was no wait when I came here. The banchans are refillable and there's a station to do that. I got a meal set that had a combo of bossam (boiled pork belly) and sundae (blood sausage). It was pretty expensive so I don't know if it was due to inflation or tourism. The pork belly was quite bland and I definitely needed to eat the banchans with it. The blood sausage was okay as well and I think I should have tried it from other places to compare.

This was recommended by a friend who is a Busan native and we enjoyed it! The soup has a deep flavor but bland. I think most Korean soup restaurants serve it this way so customers can "customize" the flavor of the soup to their preference. There's shrimp paste, salt, pepper, gochujang (chili paste), gochugaru (chili flakes) but please add in moderation. Better yet, taste the seasoning first before adding it to your soup. Mine came out good. We also enjoyed their steamed pork. It was tasty but surprisingly not greasy even when the fat was thick. Gotta love Korean food!

Some friends of mine reminded me of trying pork when traveling in Busan. That’s why I noticed this Korean pork restaurant when I tried to have dinner on Haeundae’s main strip. My wife and I just followed the waitress’ suggestion and ordered pork belly plate and boiled pork soup. They were both very tasty. We were really happy with the foods and the services. Although their roadside signage has very little English, I believe foreigners are still able to find the restaurant easily because it is right across Burger King 😁😁

Place was good, clean, and quick. The service was good. It's located in the middle of all other restaurants in the Haeundae-gu city, not far from the beach. The only downside, be careful as a tourist, when you're holding cash at the register, don't show the cashier the entire cash bundle you're holding, because they'll just snatch it out of your hand to make the payment quickly paid. It happened to me and she was so quick with her hand, I had to ask her again how much she took from me to cover the bill.

This eatery enjoys popularity among tourists, renowned for its signature dish, dwaeji gukbap. Despite its fame, the taste falls somewhat flat, requiring a dash of salt and a dollop of shrimp sauce to elevate the flavors. On the brighter side, the pork rib hangover soup fares better, boasting a more robust and flavorful profile that satisfies the taste buds. While the restaurant's reputation precedes it, a touch of seasoning becomes the key to enhancing the overall dining experience.

The pork and rice sets are served piping hot, and there are free servings of kimchi and other side dishes. You can continue to add the kimchi and side dishes as much as you want from the counter. Though the soup is blend, you can add salt and other condiments to increase the flavor of the soup. The porks are tender and tasty with any porky smell.. The sausages are ok as I'm not a fan. The noodles can be added to the hot soup and are tasty too.
