Buchon Yukhoe Annex — Restaurant in Seoul

This is a Michelin-registered restaurant located in Seoul, Korea (period: 2017~2024).

The flavor of the raw beef in the Yukhoe Bibimbap (Yukhoe-bibimbap, Beef Tartare Bibimbap) was so strong that it felt like additional seasoning was added. I asked the staff at Buchon Yukhoe out of curiosity, and they said that they use raw beef that has been marinated after the raw beef ingredients are brought in. They said that the raw beef in the Yukhoe Bibimbap is the same raw beef as the raw beef in the Yukhoe menu.

If you use the TABLING APP, you can register by selecting Korean, English, Japanese, or Chinese. In Korean, you will be notified of your turn via KakaoTalk, and if you register using English, Japanese, or Chinese, you can register via email. Once completed, you will receive a reply via email.

When it is your turn to register using English or Japanese, the staff in front of the restaurant will speak to you in English or Japanese and guide you.

I arrived with a notice that I probably need to queue for 1hr. I hesitated but gave it a try and queued. In the end it was just 10min as the service is actually pretty fast.

I had a luggage with me which they stored for me at their luggage room. Then I ordered a 육회 and 낙지 plus a soda drink. They served me really fast. The food was really nice. The meat really tender and good portion. The octopus sometimes hard to chew but was tasty too.

The beef tartare was very fresh and good! The sesame oil is very high quality and fragrant so don’t forget to add that. There is a bit of wait during peak hours and you’d be required to register to get a waiting number.
