A large cafe with decent coffee (hot coffee is in take away cups so it's a little disappointing) but service staff and their female manager interrogate you the moment you even dare to take a seat.

"How many drinks did you buy? (They have the same receipt we do)"

"You can't sit here it's for four people (there was 3 of us and the cafe was not full)"

"How long before your other companion arrives?"

"You can't bring hotteok in here it smells"

I understand that cafes have rules but I'm just trying to get coffee, not be interrogated like...

We had a layover in Seoul. We found this cafe to unwind a bit after strolling through the market. The staff was very unfriendly and sour, and when we failed to purchase three items (there were two of us), they asked us to leave. Needless to say return I will not. PS Don't young South Koreans know our fathers fought and died so that they can enjoy the freedoms they now have? It would be helpful If they were taught this so they could better treat others with thoughtful respect and a touch of gratitude. Just...
