Disappointing and Embarrassing Experience

My friend and I decided to visit Eataly Cafe for coffee and dessert after having lunch elsewhere. There were plenty of available tables, so we were seated promptly. The food attendant handed us the menu, and we ordered two coffees and two cakes.

However, after a few minutes, the attendant returned and informed us that we were required to order a meal. This was surprising and frustrating, as we were not informed about this policy at the entrance. We had just eaten and were already full, so ordering a meal was unnecessary.

While we could afford to order more, we simply wanted to try their dessert and coffee. This policy felt unreasonable and discriminatory, and the experience embarrassed us. Clear communication about such policies at the door would have saved us the trouble.

Unfortunately, this experience has left a negative impression, and we wouldn’t recommend the cafe unless they...

👍 Recommend. Wonderful Anniversary Dinner. My family had a fantastic dinner at 'Eataly' in The Hyundai, Yeouido for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant had a great ambiance with green around and attentive service from the moment we walked in. We opted for the course meal, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was simply exquisite and fresh. What made our dining experience truly memorable was the personal service from the manager. We will definitely be returning here...

Why do they bring all the dishes at the same time.?? This is a western style restaurant. They brought all at the same time so the pizza was clap cold by the time we wanted to eat it. We asked for it to be heated slightly but the so called waiter/ student worker gave some excuse that no intelligent person could accept. So, we left half of the pizza to take home because it was clap cold.

Further, they give only bread sized plates to eat from!!!!!! WHAT A TOTAL RIP OFF! DON'T GO THERE!...
