Gabaedo Coex — Restaurant in Seoul

𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘂 (𝟴.𝟬₩) 🍵🍰 It took just one scoop of this matcha tiramisu to blow our minds. With generous, smooth and luxurious mascarpone cheese, the matcha flavours really shone through with its earthy notes permeating every bite. 🥰☁️ Although it was a bit wet, we could see the amount of effort that went into this dessert. This was different from your usual matcha tiramisus but in the best way possible. If we had more stomach space, we would defo try their other flavours: they have earl grey, injeolmi and chocolate too! 🫶🏻

𝗜𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 (𝟲.𝟱₩) 🍵 In contrast to the tiramisu, the drink though refreshing perhaps did not stand out as much. We must say that their matcha latte sure is thick and they don’t skimp on the matcha powder! 👍🏻

Ga Bae Do is a small cafe chain in Seoul that features beautiful and serene vibes at every one of their outlets 🧘‍♀️. Their minimalist interior design, subdued lighting, and soft instrumental music maybe just reminded us of Hvala, and invited many tired shoppers inside!

Interior: spacious, relax ambiance. Nothing too fancy or uncomfortable that stands out.

Cakes: good. Tasty

Drinks: Insanely hot, like more than boiling hot. Couldn't even taste anything after 15mins of cooling. I think it's terrible to serve customer scaling hot drink. Yes, we requested hot because it's winter but a DRINKABLE hot. Reasonable enough not to have to sit in a coffee shop for 30 mins and still not able to get a sip out of the cuppa.

Attitude: mixed feeling. Not very friendly. Weren't intentionally rude but they made you feel like an idiot. First timer trying to get water and cup to mix the scaling tea but the attendant was not very kind when he spoke.

Would never go back to an unpleasant cafe even though the cakes were good....

Very chill place with many seats. We had trouble finding the place initially but you should see it if you exit at the correct exit. From the main library area, take an escalator up and find the correct door where you should be able to see some eateries. We exited at the wrong door so had to make a bit of a detour.
