One of my favorite spots in Korea for coffee. They don’t have a wide selection of brands, but what they lack in choice, they make up for with excellence. Their beans are rotated weekly/monthly along with their dessert pairings. Minimum one order of coffee per person. I’ve been here now around 10+ times and each time has been a wonderful experience. Hats off to the baristas for being exceptional hosts and providing warm, friendly service. During the summer, they have their special peach desserts which are one of my favorites. Coffee is well poured and if you sit at the bar and ask questions, they are more than happy to answer. Their English isn’t great, but they try (really appreciate their effort) and you can get by. It is really well known and popular in Korea so it’s always busy during the weekend. Be prepared to wait 1-2hours. I usually check in and then grab lunch. You need a Korean phone number to get in line, but if you don’t, they’ll help you out and place you in the queue. They have helped me with that so many times. Once I was late when my turn was up, and they searched for me in the streets and even held my spot until I came. If you are there for the coffee, I suggest their monthly blend. It’s always an interesting pairing with the dessert. I also recommend getting a second cup of their decaf if you’re lingering for a while and want another cup. I usually take a few of their beans home and they were as good when poured at home. I’m always looking forward to going back and seeing what new things they...
Read moreThe concept of this cafe is excellent. Specializing in pourovers is a great idea and they execute it perfectly. The kiche glassware adds to the fun and the patisserie they partner with for the deserts do an spectacular pairing. The attention to detail is immaculate and i was impressed. The only things I woukd like to nitpick is that the bathroom isnt the nicest and could use a remodel. The bar is all made out of plywood painted black which doesnt compliment the cafes interior. I hope they transition to a higher quality material to suite the high quality of the cafe.
I would love to come back here next time im in seoul and hope I will get a chance to show this...
