Hongdae Guesthouse — Hotel in Seoul

I stayed here in the Family room for 8 peoples in Winter time.||The owner of this hostel was very kind and helpful. the room was very clean, neat, spacious and have a high ceiling, there is also the big window with city view. they have a small kitchen in the room, and also a clean bathroom. they provide us heat mat and also bread for breakfast.||||if you need a wifi portable, you can rent it at the hostel office staff with affordable price for visitor :). when I was there, they have a celebration (i don't know what) and the owner cook tteokbokki and she gives us to try. that's actually really good!||||the location is super good, just 1-minute walking distance from the subway station. near the guesthouse there is a lot of convenience store (G25, CU, etc.) at the night, you can walk to Hongdae street which has many street performances and a lot of beauty stores (etude, Innisfree, face shop, etc). you also can find so many street foods there.||||i will definetely go back here when i...

I stayed in the girls' 8-bed dorm for 4 nights and my experience was 100% positive! The room was very spacious with a high ceiling, and the building's location cannot be beat! It took literally no more than 1 minute to Hongik Uni. subway exit 1, which is incredibly convenient when traveling around the city and especially to/from Seoul station or Incheon airport. The bunks were comfortable and although I didn't use it, I noticed every bed had an electric hot mat (전기장판) for cold winter nights. The dorm had a clean ensuite bathroom supplied with shampoo, shower gel and laundry powder. The small kitchenette was well stocked and offered complementary coffee/tea and bread for breakfast! The room also had a water dispenser, which meant you could fill up your water bottle any time. The short time I met with the owner Mary was also very pleasant! I would definitively stay at this...

It’s my 7th or 8th time staying at Hongdae Guesthouse. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and really spacious. The service is exceptional as always. They go over and beyond to help make my/our stay enjoyable. And it’s strategic location is a big plus, it’s one train ride without transfers (about 40 mins) from the airport and it’s located beside the subway station. The neighborhood is just amazing you can to walk to Hongik University, Hongdae Trick Eye Museum, Nanta Theatre, do some shopping, check out a couple of unique and themed cafés, eat and drink at restaurants and bars, watch a movie (the Guesthouse is beside a 24 hr movie theater). You’ll find lots of things to do around the area. I always recommend this place to family and friends going to Seoul. And this guesthouse never disappoints, friends and family always give the same positive feedback....
