The food was simple, homey and value for money. Only KRW8,000 per person and unlimited refill on everything. We had fried fish for the day, and the banchan was amazing. There was marinated raw crabs (small crabs), quail eggs, zucchini and pajeon, these are no ordinary banchan, certainly won’t be free. We arrived a at peak lunch hour, around 12:15pm on a Saturday. We queued around 45 mins. It was really worth it, though. We were the only non-Koreans there, so we just followed how the locals ordered and eat, wonderful local foodie experience. On our way in and out from our seats, we would pass the my way out, we would pass the kitchen area where the 어머니 would be frying the fish and pajeon, and the 아버지 would be scooping the rice. I said “진짜 맛있어요” to the 어머니 as I was leaving. Huge smiles on her.

The food is really good. You have a variety of banchan, with rice and soup. Please beware that THERE IS NO MENU. You will get what everyone gets and today we had fish as the meat. They might have something else on different days. The price was 7000₩ per person and you pay at the the beginning. The menu that shows in the pictures in the reviews section is either not from this restaurant or is something old. PS: we came at 1:30PM and waited for about 25 minutes. The restaurant closes at 2:30PM. So as I've seen, they dont take people in after 2:10PM.

I came to eat here in my first full day in Seoul and enjoyed the meal and casual atmosphere very much! The women were very kind and friendly - one of them even gave us a peeled peach for dessert from her shopping! They were eager to give free refills to our side dishes, but we were far too full to agree. The food was absolutely delicious 🤤 As I spoke with them when trying to pay, they all even complimented my Korean 🤭 The meal came to 13,000₩ for myself and my friend and we couldn't believe how affordable it was 🤩

Arrived on a very rainy Friday a bit after 11am and there was still a long line—we waited around 30mins to be seated. Every day is ₩8000/person for fish as the main dish except Fridays, which is ₩9000/person for spicy pork. You pay upon being served. Our meal came with 7 side dishes alongside the spicy pork, ssamjang, and lettuce leaves. We checked their Instagram (yangji6794___) that morning to see what would be available. It was a really great experience to be served a set menu without worrying about choice. The food was delicious and filling: the pork was not too spicy and the variety of 반찬 to eat kept the meal interesting. This meal was a highlight of our trip as a unique dining experience. Worth trying if you are a foreigner who does not have access to this sort of...
