Being a frequent visitor to michelin starred restaurants (1-3 stars) all over the world, my partner and i were left disappointed for the first time. The presentation and atmosphere were good but the food was a mere disappointment. I have checked the photos reviews online and noticed the change in food items. We were basically served a whole lot of starch throughout. Seafood dish was well presented but the ingredients all tasted seperate from each other. First fish dish was extremely salty. 2nd fish dish was just a piece of pan fried fish served with yet again tastely starch. The dish that looks like meat was actually again starch with minced meat in it.... lastly the dessert was terribly sweet. Overall, there is actually not a single piece of meat (only a couple of extremely thin meat slice. Everything is minced or cut into tiny pieces. Perhaps dinner might have been better but this lunch menu is not worth the 120k won price tag. I did not finish my food on several dishes but they simply ask to clear and throughout the meal, no one bothered to ask how's the food when they brought back several unfinished dishes of food.
In the same dining session, the neighbouring diners were also laughing and complaining about the food in other languages that we understand. Its really a joke that everything is forcing themselves to eat the food because they have already paid for it due to a hefty reservation deposit.
If it is a normal restaurant, we would have asked to change the food or cancel the meal. Its that bad. They need to change the menu and check with their customers on their feedback on the food.

The standout dishes for me were the noodle ( single piece dressed with perilla oil and salt- delicate but tasty), the deconstructed dumpling and that beautifully poached oyster. I also have to call out the palate cleanser - a tomatoe sorbet which has got to be the most intense tomato tasting item I’ve ever had that is not an actual tomato! The drink pairing was a great way to discover Korean drinks especially if you don’t know anything about soju and makgeoli! Service was excellent!! Made us feel...
Read moreBeautiful restaurant with an interesting menu and a wonderful service! We had a private room for our group of 4 which was very spacious and comfortable! The set menu is very interesting and a really nice pairing drinks menu to go with it! As the place is local traditional food focus, there are many marinated dishes so if you're not used to it, it can be difficult to understand. One of our party is vegetarian so there are a number of things he can't eat but we know that before we go, however the head chef was very kind and made a couple extra dishes from noodles just for him! Big star...
