We went to this running sushi restaurant in Playa Paraíso, and honestly, it was a complete disappointment. We were politely greeted at first – and that was probably the only positive moment. I asked for a wine list – they didn’t have one. They claimed to have three white wines, but one was out of stock, so only two remained. We then asked for a glass of cava each – the only option was Xenius, a cheap cava that costs 5–6 euros per bottle. On the sushi belt – the food was mediocre at best. The rice was overcooked and sticky, the rolls had double the amount of rice they should, and the fish on the nigiri was ridiculously small – thin as paper and bland. Most pieces were drowned in a sweet sauce that masked any real flavor. The rice was unseasoned, and overall, everything was poorly balanced and sloppily made.
The presentation photos have absolutely nothing to do with what they actually serve. The fish that should go on one decent piece is split for 6 pieces. Meanwhile, the rice is completely overdone – way too much, mushy, and overwhelming, like trying to eat sticky risotto with chopsticks.
We asked for dessert at the end since the menu was “all you can eat” for €25 per person – but surprise: no dessert available.
The final shock came with the bill: a single glass of cava – that same cheap Xenius – was €10. We had 4 glasses. €40 for a bottle that retails for 5–6 euros. When we asked why, the lady said, “That’s the price even at a 2-star Michelin restaurant.”
In conclusion: weak restaurant, bad food, misleading pictures, and Michelin-star prices. An overpriced joke. Avoid it.

Read moreWe dined as a family of 5, our youngest is 4. The restaurant is clearly not designed with young kids in mind, but the food and the service were so good, that we all loved it anyway!
First of all, we were very lucky to get in. We accidentally booked the wrong night and the waitress invited us in anyway to see if there were some no-shows. There were. We weren’t kept waiting very long and this was important for us because our eldest was absolutely gutted that we might not be eating there! The way the staff handled this was excellent.
When I say the place is not designed for kids, I mean that we were all sitting on bar stools at a high bar. Our 4 year old had to kneel on his stool to reach the bar top. But he loved this - and was very happy to explore the different foods on offer.
The chefs work right in front of you and interacted with the kids in a lovely way. They helped the kids to choose some things they would like and offered them some alternatives as well (simple things like rice, chicken).
All the food was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed salmon, tuna, octopus. The belt was constantly being filled with new and interesting dishes. The wasabi was very fresh and fiery, as is should be!
We also enjoyed a cocktail called a Japanese Mojito - highly...

The highlight of the night was definitely the fabulous staff: Adriana, Kenni, and Estefania. The friendliness and attentiveness from Adriana made our meal even more enjoyable. She was always nearby, ensuring we had everything we needed and making excellent recommendations on what to try next.
Now, let’s talk about the sushi! Each piece was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented made by Kenni and Estefania. The flavors were spot-on, and I appreciated the quality of the ingredients, especially considering the great value for money. For sushi lovers, this place is a must-visit!
