Had a lovely lunch for 4 here. Our tapas starters included garlic mushrooms, fried squid and the bread with tomato and Serrano ham, and each plate was delicious.

Main courses were Iberian cheek with homemade fries, the fish of the day (sea bass) and fresh mussels. The Iberian cheek is so tender, full of flavour and perfectly moist. The sea bass was delicious, served with a handful of roast half potatoes and vegetables in oil. The mussels were cooked to perfection, all decent plump sizes and very tasty.

Initially we weren't going to have dessert, but the talk of the cheesecake twisted our arms a tad and so glad we did. Ordered two portions to share between the 4 of us, it was amazing. Went very well with the café con leche!

I absolutely love this place, first discovered it in only January of this year during a trip to the area and so glad I did. The staff are brilliant, very attentive and pleasant, and lovely to speak to.

Will always look to come back here again, whether just for a beer and a seat overlooking the sea, or for something more...

The food at this restaurant was good, but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired.

When we arrived, we wanted to order a bottle of wine. The waiter couldn’t explain even the basics — such as whether a rosé was dry or sweet. Instead, he told us to “walk inside and ask the bar.” As a business men, I’ve never experienced something so strange when a wine list is offered.

Throughout the evening, there was no smile or welcoming attitude from the staff. We ended up waiting an unreasonably long time for our main courses, which were served in a completely odd order compared to others who were also waiting outside. When I asked about it, the waiter explained that “people inside had priority” and even went on about how much money those guests spent — something both irrelevant and unprofessional to mention.

It’s a real shame, because the food itself was enjoyable. But with service like this, it’s hard to recommend...

Everything was Great Until I received my Bill! I paid in Cash because this always helpful to the Restaurant Business. The waitress returned with one of my 50 euro notes to say that the Bank would not accept it because there was a minuscule tear in the note???? Seemingly her Boss said not to accept it!! The Staff were Ok about the whole thing Tip was accepted too….. I have never heard so much BS in all my life bearing in mind I am in Business too, have been for 45 Years. I don’t ever remember throwing a Fifty note in the fire because it a had a tear in it!!!!! Really.. What I should have done was pay with Amex to ensure they got the biggest charges. Silly me. You spoilt our Day who ever you are. Maybe some time in customer relations would be appropriate for you and getting up to date with the Banking System…..A Little Knowledge is a Dangerous Thing!!!!!!……...

Mesón Bistró is a gem in Tenerife, offering exquisite Mediterranean dishes and Spanish cuisine with stunning views of Playa Paraíso’s coastline. The calm ambience makes it perfect for a leisurely meal while enjoying the ocean scenery. We visited for a late lunch and were warmly attended by Thomas, whose professionalism and attentiveness enhanced our experience. We enjoyed sangria, beer, and dishes like Iberian pork cheek with sherry and homemade fries, garlic prawns, Galician octopus, and Andalusian-style fried squid. Each dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. For dessert, the pistachio ice cream and tiramisu were delightful highlights. With exceptional food, attentive service, and a breathtaking setting, Mesón Bistró is a must-visit for a memorable dining experience.

The location is great, but nothing else is worth this place: the food is nothing special and it was served with basically no salt, but the worst thing to underline is how the whole matter was dealt with: a poor guy who is working there as waiter has been shouted at his face in the middle of the restaurant for telling us that we were not the first clients who said that and when I got up to stop this embarassing and disrepectful situation, the manager and the said owner (who said he was too busy to listen, since he had flight in the following two hours) were extremely rude, replying that if I didnt like the way the place and its employers were managed, I could change restaurant. It’s a full NO NO, no way such rude manners can be accepted, nor staff can be so disrespect.
