Al Cartoccio — Restaurant in Alicante

I am rating this based on a couple sitting outside on the terrace (pavement) at an off peak time of about 4pm.

While the drinks are good and reasonably priced and the food is very nice I find the service is extremely slow even for a Spanish tapas bar.

So I would give it a 4 if the service was better. Having said that it seems the waitress was struggling with service. Taking one order then going to get it and serving then taking another doesn't seem efficient but hey that's what they do.

Terrible service. We ordered 2 beers and we ware waving to a waiter more than 30 min to order a food. She was deliberately avoiding eye contact with us and she prioritized to clean tables than take any orders. Finally we left… It wasn’t the first time they had become like this. Great place to sit at the terrace and have a drink. The Calamar was really good and tasty and not a bad price for quality. The rest unfortunately I would not order here again.
