Cafetería del Castillo de Santa Bárbara — Restaurant in Alicante

I live in Alicante , and in spain for 10 years , i speak spanish and this is the most agressive , rudest cafe i have ever been in ! They avoid serving you , tand when i asked for the menu , it was chucked at us , 40 minutes after calling the waiter and he still never came back , i went to the till , still being ignored by 3 staff , finally i asked to order , the waiter shouted , sold out of everything !! I was shocked , he then became ruder , i asked for a reclamation and then all for staff became aggressive , refusing to give me the form , making racist comments in Spanish , i said if you dont give me the hoja , i will have to call the police … The local police arrived and the girl covered with tattoos on her arms was laughing at me and blowing kisses, at me and being very rude I am in shock these staff work there , reading the other comments it seems they act like this on a regular basis Do NOt...

I kindly asked the staff to help me out and charge my phone for a short time as I was just visiting the city and google maps used a lot of the battery. I needed the phone to get around and find my way back to the train station. Even though I could see the sources behind the bar not being used the lady refused me. I will mention that I at that point bought coffee and food there so I was also a customer. I think firstly woman to woman if a girl asks for you to help her charge her phone it is more than anything a safety feature as well. Payments, maps, everything is there so, leaving someone without access to these when you CAN help is just lack of empathy. Secondly it costs nothing to be kind and help someone, it might be the thing that makes...

Nice interior but terrible staff & menu. We waited 20 minutes at a dirty table to be served and when we went to counter to order they sent us back to the table with comment that they will come. Staff was quite rude, everything took long (even though cafe was almost empty after few minutes of our arrival). Most of the good stuff on the menu can't be ordered as they "ran out" of it. No salad, no veggie sandwich... I ended up with tuna sandwich, which meant bread stuffed with tuna from can. Thanks, no thanks. This place has tremendous potential but staff needs to be changed for some with a completely different attitude. Prices were pretty ok, but I would pay more if the quality...
