Café El Mirador — Restaurant in Alicante

We come often here and I like a lot the place. But today I am disappointed. Our turn was not respected because many people come and don't know that should sit on a bench to wait. When I noted this to the girl she said that we should advice her. Sorry, but nobody will sit on these benches exactly here in front of the tables if he is not waiting for a table as nothing else to see. I strongly suggest you to install some simple ticket system as this misunderstanding has been creating often similar situation. Hi we stopped here on the way to the beach. All the seating is outside and had to wait 10 min for a table It was worth the wait we ordered baguettes and pizza and the food is great. We ordered 4 baguettes and 2 pizza's, 3 chips, 4 beers and 2 soft drinks and it came to €52 which wasn't too bad I thought. The food was great and fresh. The service was quick and friendly. I would recommend as a place to sit and eat. The views from the seating area were great too and it had shades up to protect you from the sun. Good food, good prices and good views, but the service is extremely slow. We spent about 2 hours here for lunch because it took 20 minutes to get our drinks order, 20 minutes to take our food order, 20 more minutes to bring our food, 30 minutes to eat and get the bill and about 15 more to come and take payment. It wasn't even busy - there were about 5 tables taken when we sat down. This place has potential but the service speed really needs to be improved. It would also be good to clean the floor every now and then as there was a lot trash...
