First Love — Restaurant in Arona

I'm sorry but as soon as I stood outside I realised this was a scam restaurant with a ton of fake reviews. If you actually visit it in person you'll get it straight away. My Bolognese came out of a can. It was disgraceful and so cheap. The guy serving was all over people leaving, asking for a five star review. A couple leaving gave me warning eyes, but I'm naive and too trusting, I thought that from the reviews this looked like a wholesome, family run lovely food joint. Avoid. It's a tourist trap, it's fake and I felt quite threatened there. I presume people are nervous about telling the truth on here but these are my honest opinions after visiting. There is an amazing food place nearby called Friends, there food is fresh and delicious and the surroundings are really nice with music and views of the ocean. This small restaurant had a wonderfully warm and cozy atmosphere, it was skillfully decorated down to the toilets. Interesting details were found everywhere. Various decorative dishes and a beautiful flower tablecloth enticed to feast. Based on the recommendations, I chose the Tapas tasting Menu from the list and the rest of the table party was content to choose Truffle and Cheese Ravioli and garlic bread. We were very lucky to get a table for 4 next to the bar after seeing the restaurant on our day at the beach. We had the tapas menu and what a treat! Delicious mixed sharing board to start, the ragu sauce and the bruschetta with the extra home made olive oil was delicious! The main was so filling, multiple dishes of delicious pasta and sauce… scrumptious! Our daughter also had the sea bass gnocchi which was lemony perfection.
