Restaurant Robinson — Restaurant in Arona

This was the absolute worst experience I’ve had in any restaurant. I’ll list everything here: good location and nice view Food We had a 9 people group eating and 3 of us got frozen food warmed up, two got wrong meals and remaining 4 had so bad food that they couldn’t eat their meals. The cook couldn’t prepare stake at all. First we got two well done steaks and both were ment to be medium. When we told the waiters to get us nee stakes it took over 40 minutes to get them even though the restaurant was half empty. When we got our new ”medium” stakes they were completely raw except there was a thin surface that was basically burned. The Meat was also really bad and most of my steak was just fat and tendon and i could only eat half of my steak. Service All the waiters were very rude and not a single one of them actually understood english. They made it look like they understood but i could hear tens or maby even hundreds of misunderstandings while being in the restaurant. They took your order super quickly so you didnt get to specify anything and then if something went wrong you can’t complain because they brought what you ”ordered”. The waiters shushed some members of my group because they were talking with the person ordering about what they should order. Prices The Prices were like in some finer restaurant and didn’t match the food at all. I get that the location is so good but it definetly shouldn’t bring the prices up that much. Drinks were double compared to the most and foods were same price as in a good restaurant.

I ordered Spaghetti Bolognese and they served the meal very fast. Then I have seen a blue peace of plastic from the gloves the lady in the kitchen wore (there is an open kitchen so you can take a look into it) in the spaghetti. Apart from this the meal looked very bad. The spaghetti tasted a bit muddy, probably there were kept warm since hours. The sauce was also a disaster, probably kept warm for many DAYS and it was definitely not a selfmade one with fresh ingredients. Everything has tasted old and bad. After I took two forks I stopped eating. When a waitress came I told her about the bad taste and the plastic. She took the plastic from the table and offered me to eat an other meal from the card, but I refused it. First she wanted me to pay the whole price of the spaghetti bolognese but after a discussion I had to pay „just“ the half price.. for two forks and maybe some plastic on it. Not really accommodating. Contrary to other reviews we had a lovely lunch here. We sat on the front facing the beach and had a mixture of dishes from curry to a sandwich. Very accommodating with my son, who is a fussy eater. In our meals we enjoyed chicken curry, which is served as a butterflied chicken breast with a curry sauce, was lovely and full of flavour with not too much spice. Spaghetti carbonara and Bolognese, both cooked perfectly and tasted delicious but are fairly large portions. An omelette and a ham sandwich with chips, which isn't difficult I know but it was lovely. Chips were perfect as well, not greasy like a lot of places can be either. We followed this with ice cream and tiramisu, both arrived promptly and were delicious. All reasonably priced as well. Drinks menus were available and on the tables so maybe they have read previous reviews and taken action, I would recommend this place for lunch at least. I can't comment on the evening menu and...
