Restaurante la Barca — Restaurant in Arona

Was very shocked to be stereotyped and give just a breakfast menu Was looking for a nice meal as have eaten there in the past Others in the restaurant were given both menus had meals that looked nice

I Had the breakfast and my partner had the burger advertised with bacon and cheese Just forgot to add the bacon and cheese The breakfast was ok as breakfast go

I have lived in Tenerife for 3 years and travel to the south every few weeks I had planned on taking some friends there for a nice meal but will never go again

I found the service ok. But the couple who had just arrived from the uk were given a service I would expect everyone to be given

Not whilst in the middle of clearing our table just ignored the request for the bill Then had a conversation with the table next to us and then went away 15 mins later after asking for the bill 3 times They then turned up with it, then had to go and get the card machine that then took some time

All in all I've had good service there in the past when it was just us in the restaurant That the reason we made a trip

But one thing I cannot stand for is to be treated different to others So thanks...

NOT DISABLED FRIENDLY. PLEASE AVOID!!! went to nearby Robinson restaurant which was lovely and staff couldn't have been nicer. Unfortunately, the toilet was upstairs. When left we passed by La Barca amd I saw they had a disabled toilet. I asked if it was possible for my wife, who has complex needs, to use the toilet. This was an EMERGENCY SITUATION. I was told I'd need to buy food or a drink. Myself and my wife were disgusted as usually people are understanding and helpful. I don't have to, but I always leave a tip as a show of appreciation. Where possible I usually try and go back later for a drink or a meal. Kindness costs nothing and I would have shown my gratitude. Instead you put profit over people. Shame on you, appalling behavior to treat someone who clearly needed your help that way. Shameful. This review probably won't stop many people from visiting your establishment, but if it stops just one, then it would have been worth it. Once again, shame on you, civility costs nothing. Go to Robinsons...

STAY CLEAR!!!! Just been here tonight for a family meal (4 adults and 2 children) and what a terrible experience we had! For a start the staff were miserable, unwelcoming and rude. The food was average price but below average quality. One of us ordered the pork chop which came and was as dry and tough as rubber so we politely informed the waiter and he took it away with no apology and a disgusted look. He brought another back by which time everyone else had finished and this too was inedible dry and tough. It was left on the plate and again the waiter was informed when he cleared the plates. Again no apology or any sincerity on his part. We asked for the bill and to our surprise they were charging us for the pork chop which when we called the waiter over he very rudely and abruptly told us that there was nothing wrong with it and we had to pay. Anyway long story short we didn't pay for it and we certainly will not be eating here again. Disgusting customer service and shameful...
