My girlfriend found this lovely spot on tiktok, so we decided to give it a try as u would guess not the cheapest of places as your on the main strip in las Americas, We sat down at our table waited a little long to order but wasn't the worst, our waiter came over and ask for our drinks and by then we were already ready to order our food, so we ordered and we ordered clearly with our waiter what we intended to have, I ordered bruschetta, and herself got another starter, as we waited no sign of our drinks and my girlfriends starter got put down on the table but not mine, my girlfriends cutlery was dirty aswell, we waited and then our drinks arrived but still no sign of my starter, so we waited another couple of mins as I always give the benefit of the doubt something may of happened but still no sign, so we asked and it was sorted in a few mins the waiter came over and apologized, but this isn't the end of it, as we finished our starters, we waited on our mains which we both got the pesto pasta and we were sharing a garlic and mozzarella focaccia, as we waited we ordered another drink I got a bottle of sol and herself a rose like at first, the wine came in 2 mins, but no bottle of sol, as waiting our mains arrived only to be given our pesto pastas, no sign of the focaccia, so time went by we talked and we wernt even bothered to ask for the focaccia as we already knew from the starters they have forgotten it, and then my bottle of sol arrives 10 mins later when I'm nearly done my main, so yes it wasnt the best of expierences for us we arent difficult people, so we said nothing, they weren't to busy either I could understand if the staff were flat out busy mistakes can happen but ive seen busier places, it wasnt full up, the staff were very nice people I have nothing bad to say about them but we just got the feeling there was no fluidity with any of the staff services nobody seemed to be on the same page, but all in all the food we got served was very nice, I wouldnt say dont come here to eat but this was our experience unfortunately. It would've been nice for staff to ask when we had our food did we have everything, not once were we...
Read moreLong wait, terrible service and inedible food!
Myself and my partner decided to give Fiore a try as it is a beautiful restaurant to look at, plus we had a great experience at the Japanese next door, the flowers and the aesthetics are lovely, however this very much changed as soon as we sat down at our table.
We were served water, then after 20 minutes we still hadn’t been asked if we wanted any other cocktails, therefore I asked the hostess to order, we ordered two cocktails, which after another 20 minutes didn’t show up… so we chased then again, still no sign of drinks when our starter of the prawns arrived, so further chased the two cocktails.
When the cocktails finally arrived they were tasty and as boujee as expected. Waiting a further 25 mins for food… we ordered a carbonara and a four cheese rigatoni. The carbonara was totally inedible, no flavour. No seasoning, no offer of Parmesan or pepper. Nothing! We tried to catch different members of staff on different occasions, were pretty much ignored… we then caught one and explained, he apologised and we asked if my partner could have a rigatoni, he offered a desert for myself while my partner was to eat the rigatoni, I declined simply because of how long it took to receive two cocktails and two pasta dishes, we just wanted to eat and get out of there. We sat down at our table at around 7pm and by the time we asked for the bill, it was 9pm!
When the bill came, it was €77 which considering the quality, was extortion. The carbonara was taken off the bill, however we were still charged for the second rigatoni, when we questioned this to the server and then the manager, the response was ‘well you ate it’. Awful service considering we waited so long for two basic pasta dishes in an Italian restaurant , one of which was inedible. There was no remorse or offer of proper compensation, a desert or a drink doesn’t cover the long wait, the inedible food and appalling customer service.
Do not visit here, incredibly long wait for feeling ripped off for a better food we could have made at home. It seems they have a real staffing issue and a chef that can’t cook basic...
Read moreWe booked a table here last week as it looked really beautiful, we were all looking forward to it. Arrived and were promptly seated. Drinks order was taken, received the drinks then ordered our food, Food arrived in super quick time (too quick really) my son ordered the special ‘show’ carbonara which was €26 as opposed to standard carbonara at €14. What an absolute joke that was, waiter came out with a cocktail shaker a bowl of parmesan, pancetta and a serving bowl. The waiter proceeded to shake his cocktail shaker and tipped out what was inside, cold congealed stuck together spaghetti and egg! The waiter looked shocked but carried on insisted my son stir it up, he then added the Parmesan and pancetta and was told to enjoy. It was stone cold straight out of the fridge, looked like something a dog would puke up! We told the waitress straight away who did initially apologise and offer him another dish, so he chose the standard carbonara. My husbands meal was hard, luke warm pasta with a bland tomato sauce and beef. The beef was really chewy. He proceeded to tell the waitress he wasn’t happy with his meal, only for her to say pasta is meant to be al dente and it’s my husbands fault the sauce and beef are not to his taste but that’s how they do it there. My husband does know pasta is meant to be al dente as he worked in an Italian restaurant for over 15 years and is a fully trained chef its just not meant to be raw!!! The waitress really was rude with a stinking attitude and is the reason I am writing this review. My husband chose not to order anything else, my meal was bland and nothing to write home about and my daughters was meant to be a focaccia with cheese and mushrooms, not a focaccia it was more like a flat pitta bread. Avoid...
