Joia Pizza Bar Tenerife — Restaurant in Arona

A lovely small pizza place with a great atmosphere and truly delicious Italian pizzas. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

On our first visit, we ordered the Nerano Pizza with courgette cream, fior di latte mozzarella, caciotta cheese, and courgette chips. It was a bit of an experiment since I’d never tried pizza with courgette before, and I wasn’t sure what to expect but the flavour was amazing. Light, creamy, and full of character, absolutely delicious!

We also tried the Segreto di Famiglia Pizza, topped with Neapolitan ragú, cheese fondue, parmesan, and basil. The meat was perfectly cooked, rich in flavour, and everything blended beautifully. We enjoyed it so much that we came back a few days later!

On our second visit, we ordered another “experiment” the Parmigiana in Crema Pizza with aubergine parmigiana cream, fior di latte mozzarella, parmesan fondue, and basil. Once again, the taste was unique and surprisingly delicious.

To go with our meals, we had a local beer, which was very nice, and red and white sangria, both of which were refreshing and full of flavour perfect with the pizzas. For dessert, we shared a tiramisu, which was light, fluffy, and absolutely lovely, the perfect way to finish the meal.

Both visits were amazing, we genuinely had some of the best pizzas we’ve ever eaten. Highly recommended, especially if you love authentic Italian flavours or want to try something new and creative. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re...

Probably the best pizza in Tenerife!! After being in Joia pizza bar twice, I can highly recommend you enjoy the tasteful menu carefully prepared by the chef. In Joia pizza bar you’ll have the opportunity to start a culinary experience that will travel you from Tenerife to Napoli’s traditional pizza flavourful experience whilst the environment will give you Capri vibes. In Joia all the dishes I tried are made with quality ingredients sitting on a delicious dough that is airy and crispy! The service from the team will make you feel welcomed to enjoy your food and maybe their openness and kindness will make you feel that the all the team is, or can be your friends!! Wow what a hidden gem! The pizza is amazing authentic Italian, the best pizza on the island, the owner is from Capri and it makes all the difference! The pasta and burrata is lovely and fresh with amazing tasty sauce. Really enjoyed the cocktails as well, we had Capri, Zombie, and Sangria, they were all great! Staff were all super welcoming and friendly we were made to feel very comfortable. They were super accommodating for me being vegetarian and were happy to adapt the menu to suit my dietary requirements. The food was freshly prepped and came in a timely manner, but we were not rushed. Enjoyed the time having drinks after food had arrived.
