Restaurante Linares — Restaurant in Arona

Waited and waited to the point of walking out. Another couple did. Waiter came and got drink order but none appeared until reminded. We decided to have the specials and were given a menu with 2 courses. 16 e. We asked the waiter if that was the price for the 2 courses to which he replied yes. The food took longer than the drinks.... when the bill came it was 66 euros for 2 courses from the special menu, a coke, 1 glass of wine and 2 coffees. We questioned this. Explained that we had the special menu priced at 16 euros to which the waiter was very aggressive and said that there was no such menu. He gathered all the special menus with no price of anything on them,, except for one.... And then asked which waiter. Of course that waiter didn't speak very good English... He should therefore have asked. I asked why there were no prices of anything on that menu to which he became very rude. We would never go again. Poor customer attitude spoilt our evening and definitely would...

We've been here once before as a family of 6 but only for drinks which were really refreshing, the second time around we were greeted immediately and was directed to a sizeable area. The staff was fairly polite and occasionally engaged with the youngest in his push chair.

The wait for our food was rather lengthy but it wasn't too much of a concern, however it wasn't busy at the time so I'd hate to think how slow it could become during those periods.

Sadly, the wait was not worthwhile; -The STEAK was overcooked and had to be left. -The CHIPS were mostly hard. -The HALF A CHICKEN was the worst of the lot as it was overcooked, dry and tasteless. -The GARLIC BREAD was burnt, as if forgotten about but was still served happily. -The broccoli was hard enough to break a tooth.

The only benefits of choosing this restaurant would be for the CHICKEN NUGGETS, PIE, DRINKS and/or the seats after you've had a lengthy...

This is a really nice Italian restaurant with nice outside seats in the main Street and the side. Nice service not too intrusive but don't forget your existence. One picture is fettucini César and the other is Entrecore champignon . Both really tasty. Sadly it's not 5 stars for 2 reasons Water is served in plastic bottles and the wine is refrigerated in a plastic (good looking) but plastic bag. And regarding the food itself the vegetables sided to the meat were basically raw, still edible but not enjoyable and personally I recommend(not seen in pictures) not to order the fried little squids because they are not just little,not small but miniature and not tasty if you have ever tried good ones.(no picture here). All together this is just some quality oblige and a little taste missing so the restaurant still gets 4 Stars. NOTE: Igic...
