We were there yesterday, and I rarely write reviews — usually only when I’ve had a great experience. But this time, I feel I have to share.
I’ve honestly never experienced anything like this. The staff seemed completely confused from the beginning. First, we were served the wrong beer despite ordering something else. When I received my Tonkotsu Ramen, I noticed it was missing the Nori (seaweed). When I asked about it, the waiter came by with a piece of Nori in his hand and just stuck it directly into my soup.
When we wanted to pay, we had to wait 10 minutes just to get someone’s attention. Then someone passed by and asked something in Spanish. I responded in English, but they just kept speaking Spanish and walked away.
A few minutes later, another waitress came and asked something again in Spanish, then also left without helping us. After another 10 minutes, we finally got a bill — but it included an ice cream we never ordered or ate. Then someone came and asked if we remembered what we had eaten. I asked him to bring the menu so I could point to the items, because we clearly couldn’t communicate properly.
Ten more minutes passed before we finally got the correct bill. But still, no one came so we could pay by card. In the end, I had to get up and walk to the bar myself to finally pay. Normally, I’m happy to leave a tip — but not this time. Even then, the waitress asked me twice if I was really only paying the amount on the bill, and then gave me a very unfriendly look.
I would have given this place only one star, but the ramen was actually good — not amazing, but good — so I’m giving two stars.
I will definitely...
Read moreI travel around the world and always make sure to try ramen wherever I go—Japan included. We ordered four bowls of ramen. The tonkotsu tasted more like a pork broth rather than a proper bone-based stock. The vegan pinatsu was quite tasty. The spicy kimchi ramen, however, was disappointing—it tasted like chili water with almost no real kimchi flavor. The toppings were of average quality. On the bright side, the noodles were enjoyable. The staff was doing their best—very friendly and attentive. And for the price, it was quite affordable. 2 stars due to food. This is most important part of...
Read moreI came here accidentally when my taxi was cancelled, but I’m glad it did because the food here was absolutely amazing! The shibuya wings and the chicken buns were the appetizers I had and I loved them! The fried chicken curry rice and the spicy fried chicken noodle were the entrees I had. The cheesecake mochi was perfect as well as the Japanese cheesecake! The atmosphere and overall design and layout of the place was very authentic with anime designs and Japanese vibes! Definitely recommended...
