Restaurante Corinto — Restaurant in Arona

Wish I had done some research before eating here. They have two Google buisness pages, the other one has even has slightly better reviews than this one, I'll be leaving a review on both of them. Waited 20 minutes before even being spoken to. Only about 8 people here when we arrived. The waiters was more concerned in setting the tables when there was nobody waiting for them, making sure the menus and salt pots was neatly placed at empty tables than taking our order.

Had the mixed grill and it was only warm, definitely been cooked, frozen and reheated in the microwave. Only the fries was fresh. I'm a right foodie and I can cook much better than this shambles. Only good thing about the place is the sea view.

Food was terrible, but unlike other reviews- staff were actually really friendly to us. Now, I wish I'd seen the star ratings before entering this restaurant. When I got to the bottom of my pint of diet coke there was a fly in it. Fantastic. 2 mixed grills looked pale and deathly and I had a mixed meat skewer which was the most unflavoured thing I've ever ate. I had to make sure the pink steak wasn't pork before eating it. Bar the blood the steak looked grey. I was assured it was steak.... so hopefully I won't wake up with a dodgy stomach tomorrow. Chips were soaked in pure oil and see through. The menu looks well priced but you dont get any sort of quality Do...

My friend and I (two women) came with two kids to this restaurant. We read the menu in front and came to the table. Nobody came to us or even looked at us. We stood for a while and then decided to sit down even without being welcomed. The waiter was coming around neighboring tables, but nobody came to us or offered the menu. Finally he took the menus and came to our table and threw them on the table, turned away without any single word and went away... We were shocked with such rude attitude, impoliteness. Of course we couldn't eat in this restaurant after such attitude. We went away to more welcoming and friendly place. I wonder what was the reason for...
