We had the misfortune to eat at this establishment yesterday. Whilst I appreciate it was a busy period, after placing our order for 3 plates of tapas we waited, were served a 2nd round of drinks, and watched while people who arrived after us were served their food orders. We waited and waited some more! This tested patience to a limit when we realised that nearly 40 minutes had passed. I finally got the attention of the guy who served us as everyone else seemed to not want to know and certainly had not noticed we were not eating! The excuse.....alot of people had ordered at the same time and our order had 'fallen off' the computer so he put a rush on our order and we would be the next check on! The food eventually came out, and seeing what we were served, I felt the portions were very small in comparison to other places we've eaten and the prices being charged. The patatas bravas were just some fried potatoes with an insipid pink sauce in a tiny bowl to the side! We stupidly went on and ordered desert, but only because it's the first place I've seen Bienmasabe on the menu. It was served in a ridiculous plastic volcano, and it was completely tasteless. Deciding to give up on the disaster lunch was turning into, we asked for the bill. Usually, I'll give a cursory glance at the bill, but as it seemed a little high at nearly 50 euros, I actually looked at it. Oh, only to see we had been charged for an item we had not had. I took the bill inside to query it. There was absolutely no apology though the item was removed however the guy actually laughed at me when I asked for a further reduction in the bill given the wait and being overcharged, saying we don't do that here, lady!!! Well, where I come from, you are not rude to your customers, and if you had done your job properly in the first instance, I wouldn't have written this...
Read moreExtremely underwhelming. Not enough staff to provide an adequate level of service. Should have realised after waiting 20 minutes to order drinks that our experience would be poor. Food was average. Came out hot , calamari was overcooked and rubbery, prawns with garlic was ok. We would have liked alioli with the calamari so asked for this when the calamari arrived with a small portion of salad. After asking 3 times throughout the duration of our lunch the calamari had gone cold so was less than enjoyable. The prawns came with oil but no bread, we asked for bread twice and are still waiting for this as you read. Food is quite expensive and I would not say good value for money. I will avoid coming back,...
Read moreWe loved this place! As a vegan it can be pretty hard to find nice places to eat on holiday (e.g., being served beef by another restaurant further along this harbour, not a great experience) , but the vegan paella served here was amazing!! Clearly labelled on the menu and was absolutely delicious. I got the bruscetta for a starter and my partner got the patas bravas, both of which we enjoyed. Our server was extremely friendly and warm and the view of the boats and harbour was lovely.
This was our favourite food place of the trip! so much so that we came back for a late/lunch early dinner before leaving for our flight. Highly recommend! Oh and the cocktails were wonderful and...
