What a find! Bar Timón is an absolute gem, and I can confidently give it a 5-star review. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing and authentically Spanish. The service was incredibly friendly and efficient, making us feel right at home.

And oh, the food! ¡Madre mía! The star of the show was undoubtedly the paella – it was simply great! Perfectly cooked rice, generous with fresh seafood, and bursting with flavour. Clearly, a lot of love goes into their cooking. We also enjoyed some delicious tapas and refreshing sangria.

Simply perfect place for lunch if you want to be treated with a big smile and see local flavor. Had lunch there two of our three days in Barcelona. My wife went the third day just to get the cuttlefish appetizer. Meal of the day is good and an incredible value. Grilled cuttlefish appetizer is very very good and very large. Bar Timon is recommended if you would like to try local lunch set menu. At the price of €13.95, you have 2 dishes, 1 dessert and 1 drink. The lady staff was very friendly and patient although we couldn’t speak Spanish at all. The menu of the day in English helped a lot of course. I ordered a scramble egg with asparagus and shrimps which tasted quite nice. For the main, we ordered a grilled pork and a beef tripe. Our pork pieces were undercooked and we asked for a recooking but all were still not well done. The desserts were both fine but not special.
