Brunch & Cake — Restaurant in Barcelona

The attitude of waitress is HORRIBLE. Me and my friend wanted to make the order, all the waitresses ignored us. After waiting for 30min, one of the waitresses came and told us we could only order drink because the kitchen was closed. It was just 11:30 on Saturday. She didn’t give us any explanation neither a sorry. So we went out immediately, when we left, we found out that there was a long queue. Moreover, people (two groups of approx 8-10 people) who entered the restaurant later than us all were served. The restaurant takes priority by number of people instead of by order. I don’t recommend this horrible Brunch&Cake because all waitresses are rude and the service is slow and terrible. We don’t feel that we were respected as customers. We went to many famous brunch restaurants in Barcelona, this Brunch&Cake is the worst.

A lot of people come here because the brand is quite well-known in Barcelona. However, a good marketing doesn’t mean good service, nor good food. Actually I saw the menu of this Brunch&Cake, very normal and nothing special, not creative. The restaurant is overrated. In Barcelona there are plenty of good Brunch restaurants, specially close to the Sagrada Familia. Finally we went to another brunch and much better than this terrible...

By far, one of the best breakfast places I’ve been to in the world. Server was honest with us, and said they are understaffed so it will be a longer wait for food, we were fine with it. The Spanish latte is delicious but the Caramel Latte is next level. Without sugar, it’s perfect as it’s served.

Now for the food:

Avacado Toast was one of the best we’ve ever had. There’s little olives in the bread so when you take a full bite, you get an extra tartness from it. I think with a boiled egg option, it would be divine but still a 10/10 Avacado Toast.

The Confetti Pancake is served with no Maple syrup but you won’t be needing it. It looks overwhelming but everything goes well with each other. The Bananas complement the granola and strawberries. We got chocolate chip cookie as well on the side to garnish it.

The stunner is the Breakfast Burrito. We got it without pork. Its just too good. I can’t even describe it. If we hadn’t ordered the other 2 items, we might have been able to finish it all but came close enough though lol.

Overall- Brunch and Cake is a vibeeee. Multiple different locations. We chose this one since it was by Sangrada Familia but I’m pretty sure they are...
