Papanato | Sagrada Familia — Restaurant in Barcelona

We stopped at Papa Nato Sagrada Familia before our tour while it was raining, hoping to grab a quick bite under cover. We were with my parents and our 12-month-old baby. When we arrived, there was only one person sitting inside. The friendly waiter at the front kindly said we could put two small tables together to make space for us and even helped us move them.

Just as we sat down and were ready to order, a man stormed out from the back and very rudely told us we couldn’t join the tables, insisting we sit at a high bar table instead — which we explained we couldn’t do with a baby in a high chair. He then pointed to two tiny tables that couldn’t have fit us all. His attitude was unnecessarily rude and made us feel very unwelcome, so we decided to leave. I was very excited to try this new restaurant, but unfortunately, I couldn’t have been more disappointed. I ordered the chicken Milanese, and the chicken was RAW in the middle. I brought this to the attention of the server, who was absolutely lovely and the highlight of the experience. She promptly took it back to the kitchen to have it remade, but unbelievably, the second Milanese was RAW again!

The chef came over to apologize, which I appreciated, but I feel compelled to share this here because serving raw chicken is a serious health hazard. If other guests decide to try Papanato, I strongly recommend steering clear of...

Fuimos un lunes para probar el buffet libre con bebida ilimitada.

El local esta muy chulo decorado y está bastante lleno así que es mejor reservar. No tienen teléfono y es algo que creo que deberían de cambiar ya que solo se puede reservar por Instagram y no todo el mundo tienen está aplicación.

Los camareros son jóvenes y atentos nos recomendaron alguna opción para pedir y nos explicaron el funcionamiento del buffet.

He puntuado con 3 estrellas porque aunque me sabe mal podrían mejorar ciertas cosas. La comida está muy buena lo único que no entiendo el motivo es que todo llegaba frío y no acabamos de disfrutar de la comida por este motivo. Creemos que a lo mejor esperaban a que salieran todos los platos y por eso se enfriaban pero no lo sabemos con seguridad....El queso no estaba fundido estaba tan frío que llegaba duro...nos gustaron mucho las patatas que son caseras... Las alitas estaban deliciosas y con un sabor buenísimo y la tortilla de patatas fritas muy original.

Pedimos dos tandas de comida que se alargó muchísimo ya que tardaron más de una hora de un pedido a otro.... tiempo de espera exagerado la verdad..

Los taburetes no eran muy cómodos si vas en plan tomar algo si pero claro fuimos a comer nos tocó taburetes y estuvimos más de dos horas y la espalda se resiente. La verdad que si hubieran más mesas bajitas con sillas sería lo ideal.

El buffet está muy bien para probar un poco de todo y el precio está genial con las bebidas ilimitadas un puntazo...mi opinión la hago solo para que mejoren estás cosillas porque creo que el local podría ir mucho mejor sobretodo es una lástima que la comida venga tan fría.

Igualmente queremos volver a repetir y probar su carta con sus burguers y milanesas.
