Burger world Bcn(Halal) — Restaurant in Barcelona

Sublime burgers. These guys are specialists in what they provide. Came here 3 times dining in as a Barcelona tourist. Run by Bengalis who gave us great service. Across 3 orders, I had the algerienne burger, burger Casablanca and the chef burger (without the egg), chips, onion rings, spicy wings and wedges.

The burgers. Where do I begin? The bun is airy, toasted and a cushion for flavour. When ever I had a bite of the burgers without the patty, I wasn’t annoyed - it still tasted great due to soaking up the sauce and juices. You also have the salad and sauce in those bites (also amazing). You can actually feel the sesame from the bun adding to the burger more than a tiny crunch like other burgers.

The sauces they used for the 3 burgers and some of the sides were the algerienne and their spicy sauce. These were great sauces and tasted well in combination too. We don’t have algerienne sauce where I’m from but I wish we did. It’s basically burger sauce but better. Along with ketchup, they give you a sauce bottle of those sauces on your table with your food which means you can add more to your burger if you prefer or have to dip sides in. The caramelized onions in the Alger burger was sublime. The bacon in the chef burger was amazing and you can add this as one their extras to your burger too if you prefer. The hash brown in the Casablanca burger was good and crispy. The cheese on all the burgers was qood quality cheddar/manchego and perfectly melted to add flavour to the burger. Then the patty. Top tier sizeable pattys that were perfectly cooked, still juicy and not too tough. I couldn’t try their chicken burgers on the 2nd&3rd time afterwards bcos I wanted the beef patty in my burger. Salad was great quality, not wet, not dry and the onions were cut thin and the lettuce helped keep everything from sliding the burgers. Burgers overall were amazing and probably the best beef burgers I’ve ever had.

Spicy wings - great sauce and got a nice crisp skin on them Onion rings - good but the look of them is better than they taste. Looked better than the menu pic. They are breadcrumbed and not just battered so I think they make them in shop. In terms of actual taste it’s majority crispy breadcrumb batter and less actual onion Wedges - Perfect. Well seasoned. Perfectly fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Comes with the great algerienne sauce too. Chips- Great. Thin, perfectly salted and crispy. Someone ordered chips and cheese and apparently the cheese was a bit creamy or something like spray-cheese but I don’t remember too well.

I think their menu may have changed fairly recently before my visits as the wall next the counter had different described burgers and sauces from the menu. Either way, not too fussed about that since what I got was the best I’ve ever had. For infos sake, I’ve added the photos of the menu I got (April 2025).

No Idea why people said the food was nice. My daughter and I ordered chicken burgers. We got large cheap nasty bread baps with micro thin slivers of chicken (in the middle area) and mine had horrid salad and an egg on top. Not enough chicken to even make a single chicken tender! The fries were undercooked micro thin & bland. My husband burger was edible to him as he was starving too. We’d got the early flight to Barcelona. The meat looked like cheap meat. Don’t believe the reviews. 45 euros for awful food. I forgot to take a photo. Imagine cheap horrid food and this is it! It’s about. 7 mins walk from Plaça Catalunya. Avoid this place. They didn’t have many of the chip burger options at all. I recommend finding another place to eat.

Go to HFC mucu like KFC but cheaper next to the Paral.el metro station less than 1 minute walk so easy to find! They do salads too. My daughter got a plain burger minus sauce and salad and the chicken was normal sized. I tried some of her burger, tenders and fries and they were nicely cooked. Smash burger halal near Espanya was better than Burger world BCN. They did curries there too as owner is Pakistani. The waiter...

This place easily deserves a 4 stars! The service is great, the staff are friendly and genuine , they talk english / French / spanish. Timing is fast where the food was served in under 10 minutes The food itself tastes great! We ordered the Algerian Burger and the Crispy Chicken Burger - both were LARGE - the portion is great and the sauces are yummy We also ordered one classic hotdog - the meat was big and tasty but i would have preferred they had cheddar sauce instead of only cheddar slices We also ordered Potato Wedges plate which was more than enough for 2 people The staff is really generous, we asked for some sauces and they actually brought 4 full bottles of sauces that were very tasty!!
