We booked with the fork (50% discount on food) and were surprised by the price of the Lomo alto de buey as as it was 27e, making it 54e or more if we didn't have the discount for a normal. We wanted to understand prices and asked about the weight of portions when we arrived, and clarified 9.30e/100g would arrive as a portion 150-250g. We first misdunderstood and asked 500g? and laughed with the waitress about it being 500e, which would be very expensive. But finally in the end we were served a piece that based on price of 54e was 580g.......this is a shame since we were expecting less after clarifying. We ordered a lot of other food (2 people - canolli de pollo, 1/4 pollo, solomillio con salsa y pan, patatas fritas) so it seems clear we didn't wish to have a portion double the size of what we clarified with the waitress. Also the price of the wine was higher than you clarified on the bill. We don't speak fluent spanish but we understood. Even though we had the fork discount it's not nice to receive a higher amount when you clarify.
You were both super nice during a busy service, the food was great and maybe this is a misunderstanding. But we feel it's unfair to pay for a 580g piece of lomo alto when we clarified 150g-250g. Tienen muchísimas propuestas de vino en carta que puedes tomar por copas o botella, una de las cosas que agradecemos para los que no sabemos, es tener una breve descripción de lo que encontrarás en boca o qué platos son ideales para acompañar. Cerramos con dos postres, un brownie que es una auténtica bomba, que tiene una salsa de pomelo que cambia totalmente el sabor, y un súper helado de pistacho casero intenso y delicioso. El espacio es ideal para ir en pareja, en grupo con amigos, la planta de arriba más tranqui con mesitas, con un encanto especial y abajo con varias barras más informal. El local es un espacio natural sencillo, elegante y con personalidad, un diez para la música que suena mientras comes. Read moreI don't understand the high ratings based on the experience I had their with a group of friends on a Saturday afternoon. Half of the menu was unavailable, they didn't accept card payment (though it was communicated in advance), and the food was decent but more like home cooking than restaurant-level. Pretty small portions too, which took a long time to come out and were half cold by the time they reached our table. Perhaps the kitchen was just having a bad day, but with all of the above in mind I won't be coming...
