I had a nice breakfast here on my first morning in the city. I went for a cappuccino, which was a decent (big) size for what I paid (€2.65) and, it wasn't a bad coffee. To go with it, I had a big custard cream cake for €2.35, which was sweet, soft, and hit the spot. So in all €5 well spent! :) If you're staying in the area and stuck with a place for breakfast, then definitely give this place a go! The staff are pleasant and professional, and there are also lunch dishes available. Solid 4 stars. :)

After looking for a nice breakfast place i ended up finding this little gem El Fornet down the road from my hotel... And I mean... to say its wonderful is an UNDERSTATEMENT!! I was greeted by a lovely lady as I was looking at all the lovely treats on display, i didn't know what to pick. So I ended up having a chocolate donut, a croissant and a chai latte! It was gorgeous 😍😍, so tasty, so fresh. Then after visiting the market I came back for lunch and had a cheese sandwich. This is definitely marked down as one of my favourite places to pop in for a bite (when in Barcelona), whatever you fancy there is plenty to choose from!! (Very affordable too). Don't miss out and go check it out for yourself. Enjoy.

Today we tried this local favorite with friends. Our children enjoyed the croissant with chocolate and a small ham sandwich. There are also available yogurts, fruit pastries and amazing options for juice. I appreciate that they can also slice your bread.

We sat outdoors which was a great choice today. It allowed us to people watch and enjoy the brisk breeze which kept things fresh. There is a super bazar across the street and it was nice to watch people who were coming and going. Heck, even the locals were enjoying coffee and breads from this long time location.

A woman was choking on her bread but then she recovered. It was Almost a concern but a nice citizen helped out. Thanks God for that.
